I figured the visor assembly out from the poor "IKEA type" picture instructions. Your video was much more helpful in attaching everything to the helmet. I checked RUclips and found your video after I wasted 1/2 hour being frustrated with the poor picture directions that made no sense. Thanks to your video I had everything assembled and adjusted to fit in minutes.
Sort of helpful...but where is the visor? Finally figured it out... slide the visor onto the upper part of the mask. There are grooves on either side it will fit into. Now comes the hard part... holding the visor against the mask firmly... push down on the center of the bill (very very firmly...bending it) and engage the left tab into the slot in front of it (on the mask). It will snap in. Push down on the bill again and engage the right tab in its slot... VOILA! Nice and tight (very tight) fit. Basically, the front tab of the visor stays in front while you engage each left and right tab...got it?
That helped; thank you. The mostly useless instructions misled me to put the shield on first never mentioning the visor. The visor installs first making the process doable.
Thanks for posting this video. There was no instructions. I put it together with this. Mine came with a visor but was able to figure that part out. Thumbs up.
I found out that to prevent that gap, between the top of the face sheild, and the helmet, you can push the face sheild so it slides all the way back, in the sliders. Then when it comes down, after you lift it up, it will rest on top of the orange visor part of the helmet, preventing the gap
Thanks, that's just what I did too. I had some issues but after getting it just right I did also get it to stay up using the helmet rim. The video here doesn't show clipping on the brim extension that goes on the face shield. This adds sun protection and a lip on the back of the face shield that overlaps the helmet. You need to adjust the bands holding on the face shield just right so the two visor pieces overlap but not too much where the face shield pivot is pushed off by the helmet when you raise it.
The one step I needed to see was how to extend the ear piece so it can be snapped into the helmet, and that step is not shown here or on any video. bummer
YES, POS and there is only one way to install. I can move left to right side or vise versa, the bad one still just falls off while the other holds fine so its not the tricky install.
I wonder if you watched your video before you posted it? First of all on this end nobody can see what you're doing at the very beginning and at the last you put the headband in wrong it's clearly twisted you realized it after you tried to twist it back😂! the ribs have to be towards the inside of Hemet to catch the adjuster lock. Horrible video like the directions
The visor on this product is too floppy, and hangs down too low when it is lowered, leaving a gap between the top of the visor and the peak of the helmet. It is nowhere near as well-designed or as solid as my old Stihl helmet. Wish I hadn't bought it.
That's because you didn't follow the instructions properly. You are supposed to push the visor assembly further back towards the helmet until there is no gap. The instructions show you that the plastic pegs should stick out 22mm (7/8") out the back of the ear protector mounts. That way when you close the face shield it rests on the hat's visor leaving no gap.

Bingo - thanks for the tip!
Thank you so much for this tip I was messing with it for 20 minutes before I found your reply 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Try again, this time have someone do the camera work for you since you may have seen how it goes together but we barely did.

They're a little pricey but your eyes, ears and head is worth it...👍😀
Yes!Thank you!
Just bought mine!! So excited
That's all great and all but how would one disassemble forestry helmet specifically the visor
Thank you for comment.
What about the question?????
Thanks for the clip..saved me from reading the instructions..thanks.
Not helpful. Half the time the component points are blocked.
You didn't install the last piece! The one piece I need help with!
Less music and more instruction would be helpful as well as how to put the visor on.
Could'nt see how you put the ear protection on, and you never put the visor on.

Your camera angle is bad can’t see what you’re doing.
Careful I believe you’re supposed to put the visor on before the shield because now the shield is very annoying to take off
can this be used for lineman work?
The mesh in the face shield is copper, not sure if that would be an issue
Needs chin straps

Very poor video. Stationary camera makes it very hard to see what's being done. What about the visor?
Excuse me. 😀 😎
What did t he put on the black visor that comes with it
You forgot to install the visor.
Я бы в такой шляпе и на мотоцикле не застеснялся! 👍
Yes,thank you!
Poor camera angle on all important steps. What about the visor?
Dose anyone else have a problem with the ear defenders falling off and coming apart all the time isn’t really annoying
They are probably not properly engaged...tricky

Same helmet as Oregon but much better head straps
Yes,thanks!
Great Blues Tune

Thank you for interesting comment my friend Scott!!! 😎👏👏👏
#1 MUSIC in a how to Video SUCKS!
Not very helpful you need a carmerman or different high angle to show everything!
Just got a basic forest hat. What a pile of cheap shite!!!

The instructions that come with the helmet are the worst fucking instructions I have ever seen. I'd never buy a complex piece of machinery from them.
When doing an instructional video.... keep all actions in the picture!!! moving things off screen or covered by your hands makes it useless.
Most of assembly was off camera, sorry but I didn't find this very helpful.
Terrible video....too damn fast.
Promiňte :-)
Pause button, lol.
Plus some stuff is out of shot
Mycket dålig instruktionsvideo! Går alltför fort och momenten ur fokus!
