First time I heard VoA live and it was wonderful! Great performance by the band, the orchestra and Clementine... OMG! What a voice! She and Dianne Van Giersbergen (Ex Libris) are two of the best female singers today for me.

In a word BEAUTIFULL!!.In another word a MASTERPICE!!I cryed it was that good.It ranks up there with Nightwish's Ghost Love Score, Within Temptation's The Truth Beneath The Rose, and Leah's Nothern Edge.I'm 67 yrs. and started listening symphonic heavy metal 3 years ago.It gave heavy metal dignaty and respect.I'm not much on orchestras and choir but in this setting it's so beautfull.Like a beautifull west Texas sunset it is.
Good right? Have you heard of Edenbridge? Try to listen to their sunrise in eden album. There are lots of bands like this with Esoteric, Gnostic Dreamy songs, but I follow only four since 2006 and they are Visions of Atlantis, Epica, Edenbridge, and Therion. I used to follow within temptation and Nightwish back in the day, but not anymore.
Also check out Therion's Song Blood of Kingu if you like this kind of Male Female symphonic power metal tandem. Edenbridge I also recommend that's kind of like Voa too 👍

I discovered this band by watching Clementine with Kai Hansen and I can say that´s a pretty good song, the guy sing a lot too. The band and the orchestra makes a very good match

Clementine I saw the huge potential in you since Serenity days and I knew they lost someone big. Today everything is confirmed, you have reached near perfection. This is a true showcase of your talents, and if someone is being introduced to VoA, this is the perfect one to introduce them to. All I can say is WOW!
I swear I'd be listening to this and once it breaks down to the verse, I hear Poet and the Pendulum by Nightwish simultaneously in my head. Similar groove and my brain likes to associate music with other music. (nothing negative... just how my Siren/Muse self works). Anyone else hear it? :) Of course I love them both. ^_^
Without Clementine participating in Hansen and friends in Wacken, I would have never explored this band. What a shame that would be. Seen 4 live performances on youtube of them today and each was a blast!

Yo lo conozco y me gustaba cuando era mas pendejo ahora ya no me gusta en general el metal me cansaron tanto guitarrazos pero me gusta esta banda con Clementine,y exit eden tambien por Clementine y rock mas tranquilos como deep purple y rainbow ya que Blackmore toca riffs mas suaves no tiene esos riffs metaleros tan pesados a pesar de que muchos lo consideran el padre de ese genero junto a Iommi tambien algunos temas de power metal o sinfonico me pueden gustar pero trash y death ya no me gustan.
This is a blatant ripoff of The Poet And The Pendulum mixed with another Nightwish song I can't remember right now. Same chords, similar melody in the same key. This is lazy.
She is Clemedine and Vision of Atlantis and release my symphony. Stop compare always with NW and Floor. I am great fan of NW from Tarja's era but after years i found many great symphonic bands and great singers also. And i do agree that this song is amazing and is GLS of them. It's not necessary some singer to have many Scills to be good, they are many other talents who create a big singer.
