Hi Mary, it's a very pretty fabric and might soften after a few washes. Personally, I will not trade my 100% cotton jersey nighties for anything else. They are so soft, absorbent and breathable. Happy sewing! 🐱 Bernadette
Love, love, love the gusset idea, Mary! Genius! So sorry you didn’t like the sheet! I love my PJs I made from a sheet! The face wipes will be so useful! Looking forward to seeing them! 💗
Hi Andra!! Thank you for watching! The gusset worked out great and I think I just need to wash it a few times and it will be better to sleep in 🤞 hopefully. The face wipes will be so fun too! I hope next time I roll on the bag that has your notebook cover project in it!! 🎲 Have a great weekend ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Mary! Too bad your nightgown didn’t turnout as you hoped. It was good that you got to give darts a try though! Making your own face wipes is a great idea and I can’t wait to see yours!
Hi Michelle! Thanks for watching! I was very excited that I got to try darts- I really love sewing with woven fabric- just gotta save the sheets for quilts or bags 😂 I am excited to cross face wipes off my to do list too! Have a great week! ❤️❤️❤️
The face wipes will be so useful! They’re also floating around in my brain as an option of something “quick and easy” to make that I never get around to making.
Erin- exactly and they make great gifts if you know people who wear makeup😂 Flannel is also good for un-paper towels I’ve heard … thanks for watching 🥰 Have a great week!!❤️❤️
Awww sorry about that dress pattern 😢. It does end up oversized on me and I have to change it but the armholes are always ok. Sewing with sheets is luck of the draw I think, lots of people end up with unsuccessful garments from them and the idea is a nice one but it rarely works! The fabric just sits there doesn't it 😂 no drape or movement! I think about all the awful scrubs I made for workers from sheets during covid 🙈, I wouldn't have wanted to wear them! So excited to see what you use that flannel for, it's gorgeous. Happy sewing my friend ❤x❤
Yes I should have know better but I love the smooth cooling feel of a good sheet- but I’m sure the dress would be great in a lighter fabric❤️❤️oh boy you made scrubs? I just made masks- and actually preferred mine to the paper ones😂 I’m having fun with the flannel for sure Thanks so much for watching my friend!!!❤️❤️❤️
@@luvmycrafts_Mary you can't beat a cool sheet and I know EXACTLY what you mean! I'm a pillow flipper as well to get the coolness in the middle of the night 🤣, are you?! 😅 xx
Oh I can’t wait to see what you make with that flannel!!! ❤
SEW many possibilities 😂😂 …we shall see …Thank you for watching, Izzy!!❤️❤️❤️

@@luvmycrafts_Mary it is! We use flannel “wipes” for our toddler after meals. Just flannel and water works so well
My first thought was a lightweight cotton jersey.
Hi! For sleeping in? Yes I agree- anything but polyester, right?
Thanks for watching ❤️❤️❤️
