No one who knows anything about Tesla is surprised by cancelling BEV incentives. Elon has argued against them for yrs, but if they happen Tesla rightly expects to qualify.
I suspect Optimus Prime will be performing useful tasks and possibly go into production before robotaxis are approved. Robots have fewer issues with regulation and much fewer concerns for liability for injuries/deaths.
Doesn’t matter to Tesla, they will sell EVs anyway. Doesn’t matter to GM either, they hardly make any EVs anyway, they lose money on every one they make. Hybrids cost to much in maintenance to own, and are to expensive to buy. Hybrids have no future, and wouldn’t help GM even if they made them.
Garrett Nelson says Tesla is struggling to scale, but CT production was profitable in 10 months from launch. Lightning is approaching 2-1/2 years from launch and still losing $ THOUSANDS / Vehicle Garrett Nelson is a JOKE. He certainly seems to have an agenda but he's busy spewing inaccuracies and partial facts on his way
Musk doesn’t think there should be government subsidies for any industry, including oil. He does not see other car makers as competitors, he only sees ice vehicles as competition. This guest is mistaken.
He really doesn't know what he's talking about when it comes to Tesla.

Tesla is selling more Cybertrucks than Ford is selling Lightnings!
Not for long CT will start to dive hard
No genius. They are still in the scaling phase.
If the incentives are removed, they are removed for hybrids as well!
Yeah it's best all around. Such market interference does more harm than good and drives anti-BEV backlash.
Tesla struggling to ramp cybertruck? 😂😂 is this guy high?
He is right!

My guess is Trump will either not remove it or they'll reintroduce it under a different name to keep the US autos happy.
