Dog and Cat Santa Crochet Beanie

Hi friends!
Today we are making this adorable and super cute "Santa" inspired beanie for the furry family members we have in our lives. I have been wanting to update this tutorial for a long time now being that my old beanie tutorial was 2 years old, and I get tons of questions on that video. I am a lot more better than my very first tutorial and thought I would update it.
I thought I would add a little side note that I do NOT show you how to make the pom pom in this video to save time, and I didn't want to bore anyone on showing it. There are tons of videos here on RUclips where you can find in depth details on how to make one.
This hat is perfect for small dogs that range from 7.5-17lbs. (Small-Small medium dogs) This would be perfect on Maltese's, Yorkie's, Boston Terrier's, Smaller Terrier Dog's, Cats (Tabby's, and other breeds of cats), Chihuahua'ss, Dachsunds, Shitzu's, Miniature Schnauzer's, Pugs, Havanese, Smaller Beagles , and many other small breeds. Hazel's head measures 8" around.
