Just cuz Hari learnt for a bit with Ghulam Mustafa does not make him the same gharana :D Rashid himself has abandoned the gharana since long. Look at this circus for instance.

I am trained for over 18 years, especially in Kirana Gharana and Rampur Sahaswan Gharana (same as Ustad Rashid Khan ji). Needless to say I am a big fan and disciple of Ustad ji. Now please explain your credibility and degree or whatever on the basis of which you made such a imbecile comment on Hariharan ji. Boss, let’s come to reality, what do you know about music? Do you have any idea about the difference of approach between Carnatic gamakam and our Hindustani gamak ? Ustad ji is a pure classical artist and Hari ji is semi classical. Maybe this is the only musical statement you will understand in my whole comment. Being a Bengali myself, it gave me such a shame to find that the only stupid and childish comment I read in the whole comment section has been made by a Bengali. You already look old enough. Now go, learn and listen to some music. Ask other people what Hariharan ji is capable of or what type of music he has already given to the industry before shaming Bengal’s name in front of the rest of India and refrain from putting uneducated comments here and there.

I am no one to determine your worth. I am an ultimate fan of Hariji. I worship him from his classical talim from Ustad Ghulam Mustafa khan sahab. But a pure classical magnet like Raashid ji out focused Hariji in every uthan. You realize or not, Hari ji must have realized it 🙂

Kuch unnecessary variation nahi hogaya.. thumri ka maza bigad gaya... Mera personal view hain. Thoda sangeet maine sikha hain, aur dono ko kaafi suna hain, par ye thoda jyada hogaya aisa lagta hain.
