If you use QUALITY string in humid areas(southeast coast) you definitely don’t need to keep the line in water. I’m in Florida and I use echo black diamond .095. It doesn’t surprise me that you use the exact same type as me. However, if I was on the west coast and I used the basic wal-mart string then I would definitely store it in water.
