The direction is front and back but also works with some side radiation as well. Sometime ago I deploy horizontal using some trees at the cottage and worked even better than vertical. I will try that again when ever I have a chance. Let me know how the 450ohm line works for you. 73's my friend.
Happy September Almir! The Bands were crappy today but I enjoyed the sunny warm Afternoon Hours down at the Yacht Harbor of my QTH. As I can see you had a some fun as well playing Radio with your new Delta Loop Antenna. Good job.... 73 de Your Friend Uncle Guenter 💯👍🙋♂
Hello Uncle Guenter! Nice to hear that you had a great day. Over here also the frequency was crappy but I enjoy just to be out there. I enjoy very much to build these antennas but there will be time that I may buy some as well because is more reliable, so far so good. Have a great night Uncle Guenter, 73
@@VE3DAL Yes agree with you about buying Antennas. Back to Days when I used to had my Base Station I used to buy a lot of Antennas to see how they work and which one to satisfy my needs. Keep up your good work 💯🤘🎸🎸🎸🤘🙋♂
This is a DIY project. Made of pvc pipes, carbon fiber fishing pole, speak wires and the tripod is from a studio lights. The only thing that I bought was the 4:1 balun for CA $42. Very easy to build and great performance.
How broadbanded is your loop? Mine is very broadbanded.
@@Philip-KA4KOE depending on the frequency is about 250kh and lately I found that on horizontal plane is more broadband.
Is your Delta loop directional? I want to use 450ohm window line, for other bands in vertical position dx.

@@VE3DALHow long are your 3 element legs each ? Thanks for responding to my questions. I like your antenna I can put up and down quickly for a storm.
I had to do some tuning once in awhile at this point is about 6.1 meters each portion. It will varies depending what kind the material you use.
Thank you

Hello. Where did you buy this loop from?

Bonjour Almir.. j’utilise des cannes en fibre de verre. Le carbone est conducteur, trop de bruit. Carbone fiber is too noisy .. for me. 73 ve2/f5nhj
