Twyla is slaying the shoe game 👌 Honestly I feel like not a lot of the shoes for G3 haven’t been as creative or appealing to look at for me personally but I really like the design for her shoes in this line being simplistic but having her style to it
Well the Skulltimate Secrets line looks like they are slowly coming back with it so.
If I'm honest, G3 focuses more on cramming accessories onto the characters rather than actually making them look good. They just kinda take modernday trends, throw them on the doll and hope for the best
I really love that she’s in the creepover line, it just makes sense because her design has always been about bedrooms and the night
Honestly getting use to G3. Twyla definitely looks the best of the dolls so far to me just because she is the closet of them that could have come out in a G1 line. I will say the one gripe I still have with G3 is the lack of doll stands when the base price is higher.
I think Draculaura is the best one, her body is so cute and hair very Melanie Martinez, I didn’t like how they changed Twyla’s hair. But maybe she has the best clothes
I know it’s a little detail, but I really love how she looks like she could actually be 14!
I hope G1 Twyla voice is still in G3. Her voice just sounds so soothing to hear lol
I want mattel to make a special series of monster high shoes, but for humans. xD Twyla's shoes look so good! I need them for myself haha

I LOVE this new Twyla! Especially the shades they choose for her hair! Those two colour complete each others very well.
Thank you for the G1 & G3 side by side comparison! I wasn't a huge fan of original G1 Twyla but I absolutely love her colour story, I'm a sucker for teal and lavender and her hair is perfect. I wasn't going to get her but I just might now.
I love her new colors too! Do u know why she's the only slumber party doll without the pillow tho?

The detail to Twyla is soo good (spiderwebs in her ears??!!!) I can’t wait to find this doll! I also appreciate that you show how to open the doll so I know how to do it when I get her 😅
I’m so glad you covered the body paint. Someone else reviewed said it was coming off til this is fixed we need to keep addressing it. I’m probably gonna spray mine with Mr. Superclear “just in case” I love her but I don’t want to replace her like I did Lagoona I did get my money back for first one. She’s was a hot mess with those calves. I just sprayed her Frankie and Toreli so hoping it does the job I’d like to touch my dolls and play with them and I’m excited for Twyla always loved her.
What kind of Mr. Super Clear are you going to use? Might need to buy one as well
@@soda_jar I got the flat. I just did it today so even though it’s dry I redressed them I’ll wait til least tomorrow before I’m handling them. I hope it works

I prefer original twyla, I love how unique her face is and her darker aesthetic but I still like the new one!

I'm so glad Twyla is back in this reboot and I'm glad her style didn't change much. She's always been my favorite MH character and I'm excited to see her in the animated show and see what they did with her character

found her in walmart today! there were three left :D i havent bought a new monster high doll in over 10 years so it felt refreshing to pick her up!
I never got the chance to have a g1 or g2 twyla, so I'm excited to finally be able to get one. I love the details like the eyes and ears. so cute!

I really like new Twyla. Now all they need to do is make Lagoona blue again (or at least green) and I'll be happy.

Twila actually has the same torso and arms as Ghoulia. Its her legs that are shorter. So I assume the "standard" body mold. I only own Twila, Ghoulia, and Draculaura so far so I could be wrong.
Twyla has all ways been one of my favorite characters and dolls so I'm glad they didn't do her dirty or worse just remove her completely how ever the hands are kinda triggering me
Saran hair iw what was used on the original vintage Barbie dolls. Saran hair is red on the Integrity Dolls too.I know that Mattel also used Kanekalon hair on some later Barbie dolls. Not sure when that happened. I alway use saran hair when I reroot a doll. I have never used nylon. I do have some Rainbow High dolls that people say have Nylon hair. That would be my only experience with nylon hair. I have heard that Mattel is using Polypropelene doll hair on the new MH G3 dolls. But I honestly don't know if that's true or not. I only have a few ( maybe 10) of the original MH dolls. One of them is Twyla., so I'm happy to see her return. I think she looks good in this G3 rendition. Great video.
I have the Honey Swamp Freak du Chic doll. I really love her! Her eyes are green. Her hair is mostly purple with some of the mint green.
I think it's my favourite doll in this reboot - I'm really curious of her body type, as she is shorter like Draculaura I feel like her torso-legs proportions may look the most realistic from the line so far. I would love to custmize her, so cute!

I will admit that this Twyla i did not like at first but now knowing that HER EYES GLOW IN THE DARK is what makes me like her now, like thats just so cool! If i end up getting her I definitely will be repainting the smoke to the gen 1 design, and make new earrings for her and mayyybe bleach that blue hair and dye it to mint green id love to make the eyeshadow that dull pink but i think thats outside my skill level

I’m excited mine arrives from Amazon 11/1-11/4 originally it was 11/13 $24.99 since I’m in Cali so my Walmarts don’t have creepover yet def want Drac & Frankie just will wait until in store and I’ll probably buy Clawdeen too. I sure hope I can order Howliday Drac this Friday 🤞 sadly my Macys have no MH so I don’t know when or where I’ll find the day out budget ones 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

I love this doll. I bought her a couple of days ago. I had to give her hair some TLC and the leg markings are chipping by just removing the shoes once. So that’s a bummer. But I love Twyla.

I steamed my g3 Twylas hair and some water droplets got on her leg paint i went to wipe them off and I wiped off some paint too !
