At all, nice video. I were two times there - and will back soon :). But, the north capitals were left because the tribes from south India (Cholas, and Kalingas) were few times plundered, burned and ruined the whole Anuradhapura and Pollonaruwa. Not a climate changes initiated the moving of capital.

Those invasions came after the climate change and the plague, because of this climate changes and the big plague that have hit the country in that era, lanka kingdom became very weak lot of people died because of the plague and the hunger, so cholas and kalingas took that advantage and they destroyed the weakest lanka kingdom, chola or kalingas would not be able to conquer the Anuradhapura kingdom or polonnaruwa in its golden times
