Welcome to the world of Wagakki band. Here there were two songs, "Homura" (flame) an instrumental song that Machiya (the guitarist) brought with him from previous projects. The song is rarely performed in the same way from concert to concert and is only performed live. Song no two is "Akatsuki no ito" (thread of dawn) also written by Machiya, The song is used as an encore chant by the audience. The song is also more representative of what Wagakki Band does.
The band was officially started in 2013 by Poet, Pianist, composer, Kenshibu dancer and Shigin singer Yuko Suzuhana. They have released 7 studio albums.
Wagakki band is an 8 piece band consisting of
Yuko Suzuhana - vocals, piano
Machiya - guitar, vocals
Beni Ninagawa - tsugaru shamisen (3 string)
Kiyoshi Ibukuro - koto (25 strings, Japan's national instrument)
Asa - bass
Daisuke Kaminaga - shakuhachi (bamboo flute)
Wasabi - drums
Kurona - wadaiko (traditional drums)

@@Stefan7020 Hopefully not the last year. They are taking a break to pursue individual projects, but the possibility of returning to Wagakki Band is still very much there.
That baritone guitar blows my mind and it's so PRETTY! ♥
The band is amazing, it's pure art. They are all great musicians. They combine various musical genres with Japanese tradition and culture. They also play their versions of vocaloids, they also wrote several songs for anime, for example opening 2 for the anime Baki Hanma "The Beast", Twin Star Exorcists - Ending 4 "Hotarubi".
"Hotarubi" is a great song, I recommend listening to it performed live - (Hotarubi) / Premium Symphonic Night Vol.2 ~ Live & Orchestra ~ in Osaka-jo Hall
Their cover of Bring Me To Life featuring Amy Lee comes from this concert.

Just want to point out that the double kick you mentioned was done by Kurona, the Taiko drummer.
Way cool that the Japanese use these 7 string guitars. However, the sound on this channel just goes to shit once the second song starts. Cuts in an out all the time.
The Noe mask still kind of weirds me out. LOL
