This is a fantastic podcast. No rage baiting, no pretending things are news to the host etc. just a very well planned out chat. Absolutely perfect structure and you should be immensely proud of yourself. Great content.

Absolutely love this! The format is perfect and fills a big gap in FPL content at the moment. Oscar was the perfect first guest, but I can't wait to see who the future guests will be. I can only imagine the amount of planning you have put in, but you have nailed it, well done 👏

Great podcast, but just a small bit of feedback which I'm sure will get better over time - I feel like the guest should get more airtime than the host, which wasnt always the case with this one. Still enjoyed it though, subscribed and looking forward to the next one 👍
Thanks for the feedback mate! I did have a long think about this before I recorded the first episode. I decided I don’t really want it to be a podcast where it’s mainly about getting the guest’s perspective, I want to it to be a proper chat about FPL between two people and both can contribute as they see fit if that makes sense? I’m sure there will be guests that dominate the conversation but also some that want to speak slightly less. I’ll get the balance right as I record more episodes hopefully!
No worries mate! To be fair I'd made the comment after watching about 40 mins, and of course straight afterwards there was much more focus on Oscar so I think you got the balance pretty much right already 👍
Both being involved makes more sense, they have separate channels for their own solo perspectives. A part serious part casual back and forth is better.

Just a small suggestion: For the '3 differentials' section, it would be nice if you display the player cards as the guest reveals each player, rather than displaying all of them at once even before you've talked about them. It kinda kills the excitement (at least for me) Love your content as always ❣

What a brilliant podcast, love that you’ve gone the extra mile to make this in-person. Hard to describe why, but for a number of reasons the in-person format seems to enable better communication and flow of conversation (and as the viewer you can feel that). Ross, you’re better qualified to explain why that is! Regardless, this will be my go-to podcast for FPL throughout the season. Top selection of topics and you’ve got the reach to attract the best guests as well. Well done Ross, and cheers to Oscar joining for the podcast’s debut episode!

One thing I love about this that is missed and underrated is Oscar is with FFS and Ross is with Hub. Just 2 guys who love talking FPL despite allegiances to FPL Stats providers.

FPL is not won or lost in the first game week (stating obvious). Many of the teams will have most of the popular picks, only a few differentials. It's the endurance to stick with it when you make choices and face hardships #fpltherapy

I’ve been going with both Haaland and Salah for basically the entirety of preseason. It’s only really now that I’m experimenting with Haaland Only, not because of Salah but more because I have doubts about other players and am experimenting with whether I’d rather use that 2.5 to upgrade them
Great show. Forgive my comments on the plants. This could grow to the biggest fpl show ever, only, if you move to a "fantasy footballers podcast" concept with 3 content specialists that merge as well as Andy, Jason and Mike
I think everyone is sleeping on Jota. He will play upfront and even if he doesn't start every game he comes on and often scores. I think Liverpool will start well and Jota will score at the rate of a decent striker but he's a midfielder in this game

Great podcast, there’s got to be a way to keep this in the 45 min range tho. Too hard to consume all in one go, and then it’s hard to recall the conversation when you have to watch in chunks.
Thanks mate! The entire point of the podcast for me was to allow for 1 hour + chats about FPL. I get people complaining on every RUclips video that they are too long, so for these I will just record for as long as feels right! I think with some guests the conversation will naturally be a lot shorter, especially when they aren't FPL creators
I have to say looking forward to these podcasts. But this podcast definitely felt like a regurgitation of your normal content. It was nice to hear two content creators have a conversation together and it was much more natural than how you talk to the camera when doing your normal videos. But some feedback would 100% be to try to think how you can ensure there's a strong difference between your normal vids and these podcasts. I'm assuming perhaps this might happen naturally when you have other guests who arent just other FPL creators

No idea why people have known for ages that Pep says one thing and then does something else, but taking him at his word that Foden is going to be bedded into the season. I mean he just said Haaland had a niggle then played the next pre season game. I think Foden plays GW1 whether he plays a part in the charity shield or not.
Having both I feel is just too rigid, very restrictive movement between players particularly in different price brackets. Also, the type of players you need to leave out to bring in Haaland would probably equal or if not be more points collectively than what Haaland produces individually.. 👏👏
When the prices were revealed my initial analysis was: Salah > Haaland > neither > both. Since then I have started to doubt a few times, but always reverted back to the original plan. I already made up my mind that "both" is a bad choice, and I won't go "neither" unless of course they would get injured or transfered. Between Salah and Haaland, I think it's still 70/30 despite the hattrick.
Can’t see content creators going without Haaland when the Salah & Haaland drafts are very viable. Plenty of doubt surrounding the premium defenders and clean sheets tend to be unpredictable and less common at the start of the season
I really like Oscar Bobb for 5m but obviously you’re risking his minutes. But I think he might be used a lot more this season with Alvarez leaving and probably rotating with Doku.

Something I think is important to look at is that in preseason nkunku looks great, but 2/3 of his goals have been penalty’s. Now don’t get me wrong nkunku is In my draft because he’s great at the price. But I really don’t think he covers palmer…. For some reason Chelsea just seem to win a lot of penalties. And I want palmer to be there for when they get them.

Heard you say before MGW has taken the last 3 pens over the last two seasons. So have Forest ONLY had 3 pens in that time? Whilst he might be on pens, he can’t get the points for them if they don’t win them. Assuming it’s an average of 0.23 points extra per game (assuming 3 bonus points too) - not convinced myself
