If there is a mid-week deadline or maybe over the Christmas period, if I can't get a guest, do you still enjoy it? Or does there need to be a guest for it to be an enjoyable listen? Also wanted to add that I enjoyed the bit about mental health. I stopped using Twitter/X not because I was getting abuse, but because I couldn’t stand seeing the unchecked abuse that others were getting. Heard the same story from several content creators and you all do a great job working very hard on something you genuinely have passion for so I’ll keep listening and enjoying and not be like the gambler who loses and blames everyone else bar themselves 👍

Hi Ross - jumped early Saka & Isak to Salah & JP. It was for a -4 but with no Liverpool assists felt really vulnerable to their points. Was at 0.5M overall before the Man I match and ended at 1.6m. Massive impact

This is literally the one upload I wanted to get some extra insight before I “lock in” my plan to work towards a GW12 wildcard (a little different but certain it could give an edge with a few fixture turns)
@@FPLTherapykiller, felt like there’s been too much buzz over wildcards in early weeks but in fairness I started with a lot of the “solid” picks so my team probably looks very similar to most wildcards being thrown about in the next weeks. GW5 concerns me though on captaincy as a non-Salah owner, and someone who likely won’t bring him in, it’ll otherwise be Trent/Jota if they seem likely to start, or Solanke coming in for wood 🧐
GW12 is on my plans for the wildcard too! Was also thinking to free hit on GW18 and have all out arsenal, man city and Liverpool and fill in the gaps as between them, they all have Ipswich, Leicester and Everton all at home! What do you think?

Thanks for this show, currently off to my best start siting just outside 2k and 105 points in GW3. Could have been more if Trent goal stood. Have defence problems though with Hall, Johnson and Barco all with issues. Went for the conservative approach of going with both Salah and Haaland with the plan to take out the one that started the slowest, luckily both have been on fire. Two transfer options - prefer to roll and then take out Hall and Isak in GW5 for either Wissa/Solanke and Lewis/Rpbertson. Or bring in 4.5m defender this GW. Your thoughts would be appreciated.
You are the only few RUclipsrs that dare to go against the template for no Haaland draft. And still did well with Salah alone. That makes more people having hate comments. Love your content and thought process , you play the FPL the way you like to enjoy it so respect to that 💪
This is absolutely one of my favorite FPL content! It feels like FPL content is getting so fast, focused on early transfers and price chasing. It is nice to hear more in-depth talk and reasoning. If a shit striker gets 5 big chances and finishes 2 of them is still better than a world class player getting one chance and finishing it. You have to learn to differentiate real life performances and FPL performances..

I don’t know why no one is talking about a Pedro / Wissa rotation over the next few gameweeks. This is how I set up my wildcard last week, and I feel good
I’ve played my wild card to jump on fixtures for two weeks and structured the team so I only need to transfers to change for gw6…get Haaland in your team, hat-tricks every week!!! He’s a machine, got jota and Diaz with robo for liverpool cover, life is good, currently sitting at 7,989 overall with no salah👌🏻
You are underrating Palace MASSIVELY. Once Lacroix comes into the team they could arguably be better than they were with Andersen. Now Guehi doesn’t have a huge shadow over his future also. They have a tough fixture list to start the season for sure but the underlying numbers are there still with the attack and defense will only get better. Team I’m eyeing to absolutely slap up a team like Leicester
Loving the pod mate. Really like the differential scoring system with guests - but I think could be improved with you also picking differentials you think will score highly. You could then have an overall league table of RAPTOR and GUESTS, to see if you stand up to the rest! 💙
Big up on sharing the mental health impact the game causes and the hate you get. Just as a player the game can ruin your day, never mind being a content creator. Most of us watch because we choose to and like to. Hopefully you have a way of easily banning the idiots who clearly have their own issues. Keep it up 💪

Hi Ross, I want 2 Liverpool defenders for the next couple of fixtures, but can't afford Robertson if I want Mbeumo in GW6, do you think Konate is a viable option? I could roll this week and keep Porro or buy any other defender under 5.5?
Agreed on the Rice red card, you could argue both sides on whether or not it should've been a second yellow, but the main issue is refereeing consistency.

I think referees can learn a thing or two from rules in handball. If the referee blows their whistle you have to immediately drop the ball to the floor. With some consistency this can easily be a standard in football also. This will also impact the flow of the game which will make it more enjoyable for spectators.

A teams league position definitely has some impact on their FPL prospects. If Ipswich get relegated they will probably do so as one of the worst defences and attacks in the league. Davis smacks of Doughty last year, he might get attacking returns every 3-4 games but he'll concede in pretty much every game.
Who should I pick: D. Jota or L. Diaz? Same price, it looks like Diaz is in form but Chiesa and Gakpo is fighting for his place AND he has international games in South America so will probably miss out on first game at least when he returns, probably will be used in CL instead my guess. Also, I don't believe Nunez will play ahead of Jota anytime soon as Jota seems to be so important in the their build up attack.
102 points this week sitting the the top 1.6k didn't have to pull the WC this week got favoriteable fixtures along the board with no clashes hoping for another strong week
Micah Richard’s was spot on. That is absolutely unfathomable for that to be a red. Yet again another Arsenal game where the exact same situation happens with Joao Pedro and he just doesn’t receive anything then we get a second yellow 😂😂
For me it should have been a second yellow, rice 100% kicks it away so it doesn’t matter if it was still moving as there was no way to know for sure if the ball would have stopped moving without rice kicking it. Veltman was cheeky but made the ref aware that rice stopped their play.
I would do cannon to Joao Pedro, and if I’m being honest I’d keep saka no point getting rid of him. you need him for gw6, however if you are wildcarding in 6, get palmer and wildcard back to saka and get haaland in gw7. You would want arsenal and city gw6> I’d also consider mbuemo gw6. Aston Villa, Brighton, Newcastle and liverpool swing perfectly with arsenal, city, Brentford gw6/7

I'm sitting Rank 71 overall after three weeks. I've played a few chips with the thinking being there's so much uncertainty and an early international break. All my players are at home GW4/5.
GW3 96 points, 2 FT used for GW4 bringing in JP for Wood and Robertson for Quansah. GW4 looking tasty with 10/11 players at home with favourable fixtures! OR is 250k
Mbuemo has been my gem to start the season so now he has to stay in my team and i need to set it up to bench him for the hard fixtures until i need him again. About to gain a lil .1M on him too bc everybody wants him now. My dilemma is if I want Wissa in for Wood on WC?...... On the Declan red card : While I don't agree it should be a yellow....Declan DID take a knick at the ball (when they showed the replay) and so deserved yellow (by letter of the law)......The issue is the inconsistency with these calls over the past years.
The rule on delaying restarts came in last season and was re-emphasised on ref visits to clubs pre-season. So sorry, but Rice deserved to go. Veltman did what almost all players do, advance the free kick, try and get the oppo player in trouble. It's not right, but they all do it
2m in the bank. Do I transfer out Garnacho for Jota/Diaz or transfer Wood out for Jackson? I would be starting the player I bring in for the next few. Cheers
Good job! To avoid the new channel becoming a replica of your original one...... obviously the guest appearances add something! Maybe the 'Therapy' in the title can be used and explore the mental affects, kneejerk reactions, get a few anonymous comments about how FPL negatively (and positively!) affects us (and how to cope?). For example.... I was getting really bored of Premier League when watching Man United decline a decade ago, but playing FPL and mini-leagues gets me eager to follow almost all games. Sometimes the dull games are best!

Same price, it looks like Diaz is in form but Chiesa and Gakpo is fighting for his place AND he has international games in South America so will probably miss out on first game at least when he returns, probably will be used in CL instead my guess. Also, I don't believe Nunez will play ahead of Jota anytime soon as Jota seems to be so important in the their build up attack.

For me it should have been a second yellow, rice 100% kicks it away so it doesn’t matter if it was still moving as there was no way to know for sure if the ball would have stopped moving without rice kicking it.
Veltman was cheeky but made the ref aware that rice stopped their play.
I would do cannon to Joao Pedro, and if I’m being honest I’d keep saka no point getting rid of him. you need him for gw6, however if you are wildcarding in 6, get palmer and wildcard back to saka and get haaland in gw7.
You would want arsenal and city gw6> I’d also consider mbuemo gw6. Aston Villa, Brighton, Newcastle and liverpool swing perfectly with arsenal, city, Brentford gw6/7

Good job! To avoid the new channel becoming a replica of your original one...... obviously the guest appearances add something! Maybe the 'Therapy' in the title can be used and explore the mental affects, kneejerk reactions, get a few anonymous comments about how FPL negatively (and positively!) affects us (and how to cope?).
For example.... I was getting really bored of Premier League when watching Man United decline a decade ago, but playing FPL and mini-leagues gets me eager to follow almost all games. Sometimes the dull games are best!
