The 1908 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost had the name Ghost in it's title. I literally just watched a special about it on the history channel today. My favorite car in the video is the 52 Dodge Coronet, I had a 2 door 51 Coronet a few years ago, nice car.
I had a phone call right when I was about to watch this live, so I'm seeing it delayed. Still enjoyed it. My family had a '57 Ford Fairlane just like the one listed, even down to the gray paint, though the listed car lacks the multicolored melted crayons on the package shelf! I really like the 1957 Jeep.
I'm a fool for 57 Fords but those old Dodge's strike my fancy as will as the 57 Willys. On top of being my favorite Rod channel, you sir are a good hearted man and it comes through in every video you produce, thank you ever so much for your hard work and great video's!
I agree, Over the last 5 or so years I've started getting into the 73-78 Smog Era, They have become VERY VERY popular, especially out here in the West/Southwest because they are cheap to buy, cheap to build because most of the parts are still sold in the Parts stores and online parts sites and it's not just out here, it's all over the u.s. from what I can see, your seeing alot more them pop up videos of swap meets and car show videos, 5 years ago you'd see one once in awhile but now your seeing 3 or 4 in every video.
When the photo of the '58 Pontiac - showed a close-up of the driver's side tail light / back-up light......you should know that the gas filler cap is behind the back-up light ! It was one of those "hidden" designs that several other vehicles used in the mid to late '50's......very cool !
My Dad was an Executive at Pontiac in the 40's through 1961, in 1959 he brought home a plastic car, plastic was a new thing then, but he gavd mf this car of a future model being considered. My mother knitted me oval rugs with different colors representing a race track and i remember driving my lithle Pontiac around and around. Well one day i thought i should put my car somewhere special like a garage, the only thing i could find was my moms oven so i stuck it in there. Well i dont need to explain i no longer had my little Pontiac but heres the best part of the story, this car was an almost exact copy of a 1968 Lemans aka GTO in hi perf trim. The first onf i saw i knew instantly, later on my dad asked, hey hzve you seen the new Lemans! Well yes i did BTW, Pontiac had an OHC 6 cylinder in 66-67 that was very capable of producing really good power, think some of thf Japanese OHC 6 cylinders and with todays technology, i bet you could squeeze 500 hp and still have a pump gas street able car. Im positive most of those were scraped for V8's but i may find ine one day and watch out! I wsnt to thank you Solon, i kove your Videos, i know you put in x tremendous amount of work i to finding the cars as well.as editing and producing your Videos and wish you all the luck in the world, you deserve it:)
As it t7rns out, I was pouring some concrete at a friend's shop last year. Behind his giant homemadebwoodst9ve was a blue straight 6. I instantly was interested because my boat with a 250 chev was having issues, and was looking for a new motor. It looked funny. On the tag (his cousin had it rebuilt) it said 215 hp pontiac. Turns out it's from a 68 firebird (I was told) it also said 1500 bucks. So poured the concrete, took 300 off and now I have an ohc 4 bbl, dual exhaust sprint motor. It won't work for the boat, so not sure what I'll do w8th it now
Mornin brother Solon...as usual this was a great video, with a crap ton of infotainment. You asked for a favorite, but as usual ,I'm just a litttttttle different...lol...because I have 2 favourites (and yes it's spelled correctly 'cause I AM CANADIAN, eh !..) , the 1957 Ford Custom 300 and the 1958 Pontiac Chieftan, both have so much potential...and the 50 shoe-box Ford in shiny tomatoey red was kinda nice too ( but I bet it would be hard to "ketchup" to.)....damn I'm funny for a busted up old guy....anyway, awesome as usual my friend, peace out, from Doc, way up in the Great White (now all brown and yellow and orange and red, headin' into fall) North of southern Ontario, Canada.
@@Americanrodshop Hhmmmm...ARS family huh?....more appropriate than you know my friend, because I've been accused of being and Ars-hole all my life...lmao...stay safe brother...and to quote Jon Snow..."Winter is Coming !"....lol
Ok, I'm stumped. The only one I can even remotely think of is the Rolls Royce Silver Ghost. But I wouldn't think that would be the vehicle your asking about.
The Jag would make a neat LS swap and Pro-street project.
Yes it would Gary!
Great old video called Wishes on Wheels in a factory building those Plymouths, like that Plaza

That first car, a jaguar, is a piece of junk. It has been ruined and is not even worth $ 500.00.
Solon, you need to review these cars better,. When you list a piece of crap of a car, it reflects poorly on you.
Thank you great advice!
