My ACA Alertronic AL-6000R Siren, All Signals

- Here's a test of my alertronic from Rolling Meadows, IL. During fire (the first signal) you can hear the B tone pop in during the wind down, that was my fault and not a malfunction from the board. I forgot I had it set to single toned so I was frantically trying to plug in the jumper. The alert wind down cuts out due to a bad battery cable connection. Thanks for watching.

That was a hell of a test announcement!
Sounds amazing
Im glad people are starting to restore these rare gems
One tip from one electronic siren owner to another: when using local PA make sure to adjust the gain to prevent excessive clipping of the speakers. Clipping is very bad for the amps and drivers it also causes the voice message to sound distorted and hard to understand.
These amps and drivers will all be replaced very soon before re-installtion. Thank you for your concern but we are currently not worried about it.
1:59 that kinda sounded like an air horn tone for a second there when it briefly switched to dual tone
Amazing to see it looking really good!
amazing🔥
That’s one awesome siren you got there! 🔊😍
that dual tone is amazing!
Beautiful!
Nice refurb!
Great video! Also, why does the tone fade in when it first starts the signal?
Just how they designed them. I believe its to give the amps time to fully power up.
It's likely not an intended feature, but it also reduces how much it startles people nearby when it starts up
@@AJ-PalermoIt's intended. Even modern ASC electronic siren controllers do that.
I like the black color on it😊
woah that test announcement
Will this siren remain in private possession or given to a town in need?
sold to a town in need
