I would love to meet Lisa someday and tell her how much she inspired me to start thinking seriously about getting more into playing keys and synths, really, she is the main person that motivated me more to temporarily take a break on the other instruments I play and focus and connect my brain waves and soul into what I was composing and I do believe now, that fingers on keys and knobs is the way I feel more comfortable connecting to music. Thank you Lisa.
I used to love hunting for kit in the local papers classified ads. Mainly because you never really knew what you were going to get! I once bought a 70s drum machine from a guy who made the robotics for the pig in the ‘babe’ film. He had a gold rolls Royce & a garage full of robots 😂

Hi Brian, thanks for a wonderful episode! I am a huge fan of Lisa, she is a master of powerful and emotional synth work, at least to me. It's relatively easy to run sequencers and create electronic music, but making synth music that can really cut through you and hit your emotions - that is a beautiful thing and Lisa really makes these soundscapes that just reach out and sometimes hug, sometimes grab you. I want to see her perform live as well. Thanks again Brian, great interview and great content.
Great interview. Thanks Brian. Just that you've casually got a Sonic Five sitting there. Ha! I remember Synthlocator (Dave?) up in OH. Super nice guy. I, too, used to buy stuff from him occasionally many years ago. Once, I was on the road and was able to stop by Synthlocator's place, and I discovered he had a Moog 35 (or maybe it was a 55? Been a while....) sitting there in the basement. Wonder if I'm just mis-remembering the same IIIp LBD was talking about? It was my first time approaching one in person, and it was a magical experience. Anyway... Small world.

That was a fantastic interview. Lisa is a very interesting musician and a gun synthesist.
Again, Brian…love the thoughtful conversations you have with your guests. So much story and depth within a short amount of time.

Fantastic interview with a very unique artist. Really enjoyed the nitty gritty shop talk.

I LOVE this in so many ways. ~ Dina
19:40 I believe knowledge of this is purposely suppressed. The power of sound is unmatched.
As we all know now: everything has its own frequency
I didn't know her, but I want to check her out now. I mean, "A National Acrobat" and Virgil Fox references for starters.
Great interview. Thanks Brian.

Seems likely! He was ahead of the game so he made an impact on people back then...
