New villains. New dynamics April being actually a member of the family. mikey being the baby brother still but(is now the glue), donnie his tech(tech is not just episode relent for a fix than never seen again anymore which it was in other iterations, first tech boa finally) leo see his strategy and personality come out more ( not just leader with responsibility) rahp still the brawler (but new big brother learder responsibility) its a great NEW take on the characters it is the best. At making it fresh and new. Every version is great but they are each the best at certain things. 2018 is the best at being its own thing joined in spirit with the other tmnt universe but making to wholly new and different which is and was needed for this franchise.
This video made me obsessed with Rise, especially the beggining and the end cuz they are so epic that I feel it even in my bones. I think it's been 2 years and I thought this video was like, the top of the top on the Rise animatics, it's weird that it doesn't have more views. You can see how much thought was put into making the video, as the clips correspond with lyrics of the song and the action goes along with the beat perfectly, just, AAAAAAHHH
