Hearse Boys Ha, I just picked up the Capcom collections vol1 and 2 for PS2, and got the. Sf collection and alpha collection for ps2. Was a total of $20-$30 off of eBay. Same thing you’re suggesting. Aka The core 4 games.
I would get the Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection for Steam PC because you can play online for free without having to pay to play online for a month or a year, but you still will need to pay for your internet service. In all of the versions of this collection, you can turn the input lag in the games on and off.
@@lErickl To turn the input lag off in Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection, you go online in the game and look for the option that says "online options". And then after you go to the online options, go to the input lag selection and set the input lag to zero.
Generalgutz, not for me...dunno if it's the port or the d-pad but the game is being an utter porcine droplet with me, worst example being jumping forward or backwards because the next time it jump straight up instead it just may cost me £55.
If you own switch and ps4 the question is simple Portable or not? After that the question is do you play sf2 alone against cpu or do your prefer co op play or online?
Maybe this is me, but I think you were oversimplifying the 12. While I don't get the big differences between all of the 2s, the others are all distinct games
The Alpha games are not all the same. Sure, they all reuse character sprites, but that would be like saying Marvel VS Capcom 1 and 2 are the same game. The Alpha games all feature different stories, different stages, different music, etc.
I know I'm bit late but for those still considering which version to get another factor to think about is how strong your internet is. 99% of Switch owners are going to be playing via wifi so your connectivity has to be quite strong in order to play smoothly, this also means there's more of a chance for lag. Whereas on the ps4 I'm assuming 60% use wifi and 40% use Ethernet (estimate), So your more likely to get a smoother experience. Also it seems like more users are gonna be buying the console/pc version over the switch version due to it being £10 more. I myself bought the switch version due to the portability and I have a strong internet connection but I could see if I had a low to mid wifi connection it would be unplayable.
I'm definitely getting it on PC! Graphic will be 1,000 time better plus I got huge monitor haha. Also good part is that I can use same type of controller on PC.
I'll be getting the switch version of coarse. Classic street fighter titles are better played on a nintendo system, besides I already own ultra street fighter II on switch and I have street fighter V on PS4. Also, it would be awesome to play third strike on a nintendo console for once.
I would buy this collection only if Hyper Street Fighter 2 (the one released at PS2 at original XBOX) and Hyper Street Fighter Alpha (released as a secret game in PS2 Alpha Anthology) are gonna be included. In my opinion the idea to have a definitive version mixing all the versions from SF2 and Alpha is best way to go with this game. You can choose each version of of each character from the first version to the last one and play with them in the way you like. In fact I would like to see something similar for Street Fighter 3 too, in order to play like, Yang from SF3 mode against Yang from SF3 TS and awesome mixings. . Also they should create a playable version of SF1 (Same graphics just playable) and maybe with all the characters available to be chosen. And why not creating some kind of contract with Arika and realsing a DLC with the 3 EX games plus a mix for all of them. Thats the best and only way to celebrate a 30th anniversary iproperly n my book. Cause thsese "collections" emulations, are something already seen.
Getting mine on the switch, im fine switching from my arcade stick to my pro controller (if i wanna play ranked) but being able to play arcade mode on the go just wins it for me, plus you can play with some casuals game with friends. On the serious side, I encounter plenty of serious Japanese players on my next of the woods. So i dont need psn for that game. Pretty much perfect to be honest :)
Switch is not really designed for fighting games unless you have stick or a pro controller. But that kinda defeats the point of having hr portability. I have a 8bitdo just for fighting games on the go
Dany V plus no need to be a ps plus memberships..😎 and I'm happy coz I choose to pre ordered it so I will have ultra street fighter 4 how cool is that ... actually that's the main reason that made me say yes....Coz I do have super street fighter 4 on my ps3 that I upgraded to ultra... problem now is no one is playing ps3 anymore online.. I missed my window.. 😦 so in short for me I choose pc.. it's cheaper and it's way better..😎😎😎😎
Dany V SFIV nobody really plays there just the same people.same shit on ps4 nobody really plays it either they all on SFV and m talking of SFIV " nobody plays it"
Since you’ve got the Hayabusa stick for Switch, you’re set. You can have decent controls at home and SF on the go when you’re not. I have both systems available. I have the Hayabusa fightstick for Switch and the Qanba Dragon on PS4 and I went with Switch version of SF30AC.
Hori makes a dpad joycon, so if you want to play this on the go, that's an option for people. If you hate Hori, you can also geta modding kit that allows you to add a dpad to the joycon setup.
One thing you missed is that if you get it on ps4, Xbox one, or pc then you get a free copy of ultra street fighter 4 but you don't get that on the switch but if you already have it on ps3 like I do then the switch option does look better
I'm going PC cause it's what I have. But I'd lean on PS4 due to controller. Online is another reason. Both games have online but I've heard some pretty rough business regarding Switch's Wifi for fighting games.
Thank you for posting this video. I've had this same question in my head and for that alone, I'm subbing! 😁 I'm getting both only because I don't have Ultra SF4 yet. Also, Switch is going to have free online until September so there's that... SF Turbo is great, but you are clearly underestimating the rabid following of Super Turbo. I've never had more fun with my friends playing any other iteration (Alpha 3 is a VERY close 2nd). I'll be playing all of them though. I have 2 modded NES30 arcade sticks so being able to play a friend via bluetooth arcade sticks is a dream come true.
Hugh Jazz Since the game isn't visually demanding, it performs well on Switch without sacrificing the experience. You get an extra mode. You can play at home or on the go. If you go physical, you get it on a cart. Those reasons may not reflect others, but they are my reasoning.
Hugh Jazz I'm from Canada, so far I've seen the Hori R.A.P. at EB Games (GameStop) and then just online. I think theres some adapters that allow PS4, PC and Xbox One accessories to be used on Switch for a more cost effective route, however I have no clue on where to buy. If I can recommend anything, dont buy the Switch for just this game. Consider at least two more games worth your time before you make the purchase.
I got it for the switch just cause I always imagined my self going out on trips this summer with friends and when there’s down time on the road we can always kill time playing street fighter
I love my Switch but the Joycons do suck for fighting games. Having said that however, during the beta for blazeblu, they somehow made inputs with the Joycons work really well. Doing QCF/QCB moves with the Dpad buttons just worked.
Honestly I didn't have many problems playing USFII on Switch with the Joy Cons. However, other fighters have been pretty bad with them with my experiences, like Blazblue Cross Tag and the ACA King of Fighters games.
Fighting Games is all about being social, you can't get more social than going outside. Also if you do Tournaments, being able to take it with you and get some practice in, and play with other people for fun at the tourney.
Since gamecube controllers work on the switch I put a pcb from a broken controller inside a wii fightstick, shit's good, also, most 3rd party gc controllers have decent d pads for fighting games
Im going to suscribe, your opinion seems interesting, although i already disagree with a few things, first you cant compare dual shock with joy cons, i know they are the default controllers on both systems, but playing using a pro controller is comfortable enough, i actually have a ps3 fightstick with brooks adapter to play on the switch, i cant afford too many fightsticks so ive been using this one for a while.
ShiftNBXX not everyone has a pro controller for various reasons, but everyone has the joy cons or DS4. That’s why you can compare these default controllers for this game.
You like it on Switch because it’s portable, but will only play on Switch with that massive arcade stick...so carrying that stick around makes it not really portable anymore...
I have the switch version, and I've gotten used to playing online with the joy-con controllers. I don't use the sticks, just the d-pad. (Because I grew up d-padding fighting games lol)
The PS4 version looked really appealing because of the USF4 download code, but in the end, I opted for the Switch version. Say what you want, but nothing beats gaming on the go.
If you already have fight stick/pad on the ps4/xbox1, there no real point to getting it on the switch. Having the ability to play anywhere, but having to carry around additional weight just to play comfortably kinda defeats the purpose of the switch.
I've been making the decision to buy fighting games on the PC from now on (don't want to pay for PS+ anymore) but now the Switch is creating a conundrum. Blazblue: CTB I'm definitely gonna get on the Switch instead of PC, still debating on if I should get this game on the Switch.
No price difference in America $40 everywhere. And and I can't walk around with a PC and a monitor to play on the go. Don't understand why this needs to be explained so many times.
Flopsy J. Well if u really want to play street fighter on the go (who does that anyway, lol 😂? And against who and how?) then obviously Switch, no doubt about it. And hows "40 dollars anywhere"? how can key licenses cost more on xxx country? I have friends from states paying exactly (in proportion) less than 25 euros. For example on MMOGA is 28 bucks right now. And that's even one the most expansive sites....?
I bit the bullet and bought both: Switch because it's portable and PS4 so I can have all the games on one system. I've got multiple Fight Sticks so controllers aren't an issue.
Dude get it on Switch it's a no brainer. You can always get a real controller if the joycons aren't doing it for you. Take it anywhere and that's better than anything the PS4 can offer
UrbanaSupernovA Yeah, sure, virtual trophies that no one really remembers. Just kidding, but to me, I like getting trophies, but it’s not what I aim for.
Go for the Switch, it´s just better due to portability and for the controller thing, you can get a Pro controller which feels really nice for the big buttons and great Dpad.
You could always play it with a Pro controller on Switch. Which is a great controller. And although it isn't the best playing it on the Switch with the Joy Con. It isn't super bad. But with the Pro controller or the arcade stick you can't go wrong.
2:59 Get a Pro Controller cost 50 dollars or £49.99 or 65 dollars or £64.99 depending on which Switch Pro Controller you get. But trust me you will enjoy the Pro Controller much more than the Joy Cons
Im getting 2 copies (PlayStation 4, Switch) Its convienent to get it for the switch because you can play anywhere. And for the first time Hyper Fighting will be on PlayStation Network. Pro Controllers are very good for fighting games, and its even better then the Ps4 controller. Good luck based on your decision.
The 8Bitdo USB Switch adapter opens you up for many of their Arcade sticks and retro controllers. You can also play with the PS4 controllers and more. Case closed, the Switch is the way to go.
I haven’t even tried online but to me the controls are terrible. I have been playing the final challengers on the switch with a pro pad and can do everything I want on that but it’s not even close to being the same experience on the 30th edition is anyone else finding the same problems?
I got a custom joycon with a dpad. It rocks. Also there are adapters that let you use PS4 controllers on the Switch. Also 8bitdo joysticks work wirelessly on the Switch.
Got on switch coz need a sf or mk while on the move, thought I've got pro pad I'm good to go, wrong d pad is dead always thought I had powers with zangief, joycons and pro pad made me feel like I'd lost my powers, BTW I'm 40 been beating SF a long time doing raging demons in my sleep 😴 getting adapter so can use ps3/ps4 pad is my best option, although I will admit I've played SF solely on PS3/4 for past 10/15 years so ps controller is what I'm used to
You should get... Some! Let me know your GT. First to 5, you good I'll subscribe. I make my sticks. My fave is New Generation...and its PS4.The tourney on PS4.
Personally just due to the controller PS4 all the way. Fighters feel so horrible on the joy cons i can't even describe how unnatural it all feels. Getting ultra street fighter 2 on the switch was the biggest mistake i have ever done. But that said its whatever you prefer if you happen to own a arcade stick which the majority of players won't own so it's really down to personal preference if you do happen to own one.
Danny Richie Just play with a Pro Controller. Also who plays fighting games with Joy-Con (although it's still better than playing with Wiimote/Nunchuck)?
Jungko Midori Really should not have to spend £60 for a controller, that's a lot of money for just the purpose of a single game, it's why the PS4 controller is better in this scenario with fighting games in general because it comes with the system, no extra cost bs it isn't some add on accessory plus from using my friends the d-pad on the pro controller is really bad. It's stiff and doesn't feel very nice when you roll it to do special moves, sort of reminded me of how the d pad felt on a 3rd party 360 controller.
michael lynch true, a lot of 3rd party games are barely breaking a couple hundred thousand units sold on the system, even look at 1st week sales compared to other systems they stay strong for months but switch sales drop off of a cliff after a week or two. Kinda annoys me that. Nintendo should stick with their 1st party stuff as it's pretty good but you get a majority of fanboys screaming for gimped ports, then they fail to sell well because nobody bought them. It's like put your money where your mouth is at least! But you also have to consider why companies don't port games because it just isn't financially attractive enough, carts cost way more to mass produce for compared to a blue ray disk, it's totally different software so you have to employ coders or train current coders to change thousands of lines of code to make it compatible then you have to employ people to turn down the graphic settings, bug test etc so it runs at the bare minimum and by the end they just about scrape their money back. Let's face it the switch will forever be a 2nd system. I personally do not know anyone who has it as a primary system they all primarily use the PS4 or a PC.
It's 15 quid cheaper in ireland on ps4 then buying on the switch....plus the joy pads are better....but go for the switch if you have a stick or good joy pad...plus you have free online play.
i think both very good ps4 definitely got ultra street fighter 4 & street fighter 5 , street fighter 30th anniversary SWITCH have Ultra Street fighter 2 & street fighter 30th anniversary PS4 Controller definitely yes👍
I got it on the switch also, dont know why people still hate on xbox tho, I love the xbox controller out of all of them. And yes i have all 3 systems, Play on tho my man!!
Im going to get it on switch next week then 3 days after ill get it on ps4 for 3 reasons 1 i need to get more games for me switch 2 i want to play it on the go and 3 i love my switch dont get me wrong but it not my main platform and i got a pro controller for my switch so i dont have to use the joycons so im set
If you wanna get logged out get an xbox one, if you wanna play with kids get a switch, if you want a to play old schoolers without any issues get it on PS4.
Be honest the mayority of the FGC will get it on the ps4. Some will do switch/pc and few will have no option other than xbox one. The choice is easy ps4 man.
OmniClipz they dont but they are forced to play on it. SFV not on pc even if its better there... mvci and umvc3 ps4, tekken 7 ps4, injustice 2 ps4, mortal kombat ps4. If smash bros and killer instinct could play on ps4 they will enforce it aswell......
Mal Ant because your hearing the original tracks. And your probably used to the arranged tracks from street fighter anniversary collection for the ps2.
Physical durability, no cd/dvd/blueray scratches, same gameplay as arcade... get the switch. If you dont mind your cd worn out then get the ps4, same gameplay.
i got the game on the switch digital download straight up for full price and played straight away after work online about 50 straight ranked matches and tried many of the modes and all i can say is i kind of regret it. This game is horrible on Switch for someone who knows these games and the inputs and honestly only reason to get this is for the portable aspect which is really nice but if you are serious about these games avoid the switch version at all costs.
obiiWan7 That’s a great idea, I’ll dig mine out, I’m really struggling with the Pro Controller and Joy-Con’s. Completely forgot about that option. Thanks!
I'm super surprised with the amount of people commenting about using a controller to play 3rd strike. I'm sorry but you will not win against an arcade stick player period. It's just the facts
You know you can mod the joycons to have a dpad? I did the same world of difference also the company you got your clear joycon shells from sell the dpad shell. Also just buy the switch pro controller
Yeah, I don't have much experience with the mobile games, but for someone who is used to the ergonomics of mobile gameplay, the Switch would definitely suit you. - RAINEY
Hearse Boys my bad meant that I emulate a psp bc sfa3 best version was on it. actually have a stick I connect to mu phone. but mobile is ideal. kinda bummed usf4 wasn't included but tbh they will likely release a switch version.
Can’t afford both. Buys $200 controller....
Yeah, LOL. Plus there is also the pro controller on the switch
You should get it on the PlayStation switch
It’s all so clear to me now. Thank you.
- RAINEY.
Hearse Boys Ha, I just picked up the Capcom collections vol1 and 2 for PS2, and got the. Sf collection and alpha collection for ps2. Was a total of $20-$30 off of eBay. Same thing you’re suggesting. Aka The core 4 games.
mike ler what about the NINTENDO X-STATION 4 S?!
SHIN BAKI HANMA just download the cartridge.
mike ler 😆🤣😂
If you’re pre-ordering and don’t own USF4, go PlayStation, but if you want it portable, go switch.
I would get the Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection for Steam PC because you can play online for free without having to pay to play online for a month or a year, but you still will need to pay for your internet service. Bold of you to assume I have friends that appreciate masterpieces like Street Fighter
I like it, better on the switch. You take anywhere to go. I highly recommend, getting the switch pro controller for ,an overall good experience.
Switch Pro Controller is pretty good for fighting games

Rice Yoshi, thanks for the info it might be on my shopping list before long.

There's a Pre-Order Bonus for the PS4 (Free Digital Copy of Ultra Street Fighter IV). but the Switch doesn't have any Pre-Order Bonuses
2:59 Get a Pro Controller cost 50 dollars or £49.99 or 65 dollars or £64.99 depending on which Switch Pro Controller you get. But trust me you will enjoy the Pro Controller much more than the Joy Cons
I'm getting on both ps4switch but I'm sure the xbox version will have no input lag.
so you never heard of the switch pro controller?
Do you think they will ever release a Dragon Ball Z Fighterz on the Switch??????!!!!!!!
Pascual Villasenor I hope so
Im getting 2 copies (PlayStation 4, Switch) Its convienent to get it for the switch because you can play anywhere.
Get it on the Switch, you won’t have that many killers to fight against
Switch pro controller better than the PS4 controller?
Ok so we say the joy cons are horrible then what about the Pro Controller? I’m just gonna use that and when I do use the joy cons I’ll deal with it.
PS4 does have a pre-order bonus of USF4, but that doesn't matter at this time...
I'm getting it both on ultra Street Fighter 2 and Street Fighter collection digitally
I got a custom joycon with a dpad. It rocks. Also there are adapters that let you use PS4 controllers on the Switch. Also 8bitdo joysticks work wirelessly on the Switch.
Enrique Pinero wait really
I'm planning on getting both versions. One for home and one one the go.
Got on switch coz need a sf or mk while on the move, thought I've got pro pad I'm good to go, wrong d pad is dead always thought I had powers with zangief, joycons and pro pad made me feel like I'd lost my powers, BTW I'm 40 been beating SF a long time doing raging demons in my sleep 😴 getting adapter so can use ps3/ps4 pad is my best option, although I will admit I've played SF solely on PS3/4 for past 10/15 years so ps controller is what I'm used to
I got two fightsticks for the PS4, dunno if I should get the game on ps4 for ease or get a ps4 to switch adapter to play on the go
You should get... Some! Let me know your GT. First to 5, you good I'll subscribe. I make my sticks. My fave is New Generation...and its PS4.The tourney on PS4.
So.. 30th edition for $40 or just SF2 for $20 right now?
Danny Richie switch version is probably trash
Danny Richie this is why nintendo is irrelevant.
michael lynch true, a lot of 3rd party games are barely breaking a couple hundred thousand units sold on the system, even look at 1st week sales compared to other systems they stay strong for months but switch sales drop off of a cliff after a week or two.
I said thug life and doubbled up on this one PS4 for the crib switch for trips
Absolute Madeline!!!!🤤😨
Bro wit the switch you can play it docked and on the go😂😂
It's 15 quid cheaper in ireland on ps4 then buying on the switch....plus the joy pads are better....but go for the switch if you have a stick or good joy pad...plus you have free online play.
Switch has a arcade controller made for fighting games. So controls aren’t obstacles for the system.
i think both very good
ps4 definitely got ultra street fighter 4 & street fighter 5 , street fighter 30th anniversary
SWITCH have Ultra Street fighter 2 & street fighter 30th anniversary
PS4 Controller definitely yes👍
You can also use a custom arcade stick on switch for tv mode check the videos out
I got it on the switch also, dont know why people still hate on xbox tho, I love the xbox controller out of all of them.
I got it on ps4 for online and will get it on the switch for portability.. Still need a ps3 to ps4 converter for my sf arcade stick..
Thumbs up for the Switch. Take it anywhere you want and get same stuff
So can I use my PS4 fightstick on the switch as long I use the usb-c converter?
If you wanna get logged out get an xbox one, if you wanna play with kids get a switch, if you want a to play old schoolers without any issues get it on PS4.
Also, heads-up. Hori is releasing a joycon with dpad.
Why not both? Just order it from Amazon and you'll get both games for $64.
Swich has the extra feature of tournament mode, but online in swich sucks, so I would do ps4
Amazing channel!! Wow! I love this review!!! Your approach to reviews is par excellence! You have a new fan here!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Be honest the mayority of the FGC will get it on the ps4.
Some will do switch/pc and few will have no option other than xbox one.
The choice is easy ps4 man.
Alucardjr69 wish I could best money with you. I'm saying switch. Fighting comminity don't give a shit about ps4
OmniClipz the developers do though, most relevant fighting games are on PS4.
The sound is a bit offish on sf3 3rd strike on the switch. Be warned
Mal Ant because your hearing the original tracks. And your probably used to the arranged tracks from street fighter anniversary collection for the ps2.
I've the 8bitdo controller for Switch. The PS4 controller is good, but, 8bitdo's is that much better imo.
I'm getting it on switch and xbox because one is portable and xbox has a good track record of making games backward compatible next gen.
Why not also discuss PC and Xbox versions?
If you play controller get a Pro Controller for switch
On Deck HHG Nah, 8bitdo brah.
Or arcade controller pro
Pokken controller i the best pad for the Switch for games like this. Way better d-pad than Pro
obiiWan7 That’s a great idea, I’ll dig mine out, I’m really struggling with the Pro Controller and Joy-Con’s. Completely forgot about that option. Thanks!
I'm super surprised with the amount of people commenting about using a controller to play 3rd strike. I'm sorry but you will not win against an arcade stick player period. It's just the facts
I'm having this dilemma too. I'll flip a coin on the day of purchase!
What did you pick?
question for me is Xbox One or Steam?
Josh G Xbox
I love the Switch version but why the hell isnt Street Fighter IV and V isnt on the here.
Sony helped finance SF5 that's why it's a PS4 exclusive.
Congrats you got a new fan ( me )
I have it on switch and it's unplayable with joy cons. I'm going to get it for ps4 and try again with switch after I get a pro controller.
You know you can mod the joycons to have a dpad? I did the same world of difference also the company you got your clear joycon shells from sell the dpad shell. Also just buy the switch pro controller
same here I play sfa3 on my phone rn to play on a switch will be nice. since my friends don't play fg I'm okay with that.
Get it on the GameCast!
