I started watching ST as S4 was coming out. I kept asking my wife if Bobby was going to turn out to be a bad guy or something bad was going to happen to him the whole time because I had anxiety Sean Astin could be less than pure. I just wanted that spoiled that Bobby and Joyce were going to live happily ever after.

I always thought Eddie's death was pointless. Dude, you did your part. Get outta there, there is zero point to going back. Also, isn't it weird that he's fighting bats with a spear instead of the shotgun, which Jason specifically pointed out is better for game like small birds? Nancy, give Eddie the gun and jack Vecna with the spear!

he still has telekinesis, he's stupidly inconsistent with what he can and can't do and just how strong he is. Which is the norm in this show.
@@acewmd. One thing is that show is definetly inconsistent which what both he and Eleven can do. However its also worth noting that Max is not really here. Meaning its more telepathy than telekinesis in which case yeah your mindset really matters.
I also always figure out that Henrys telekinesis was always weak which is the main reasony why he was avoiding direct confrontation as much as possible and was attacking solely from the dream world. I mean he only used telepathy to kill several people when he was still in laboratory. Making me wonder if turning into Vecna did not weaken his telekinesis but power up his telepathy to such absurd degree his able to invade minds while being in another dimensions.
@@rjofusetsudzin8011 I had the same reason in mind: He isn't close enough to use telekinesis in that scene. The "Red Dimension" is not a real dimension. It is more Max corrupted mind or something like that. He can form it to make Max surrender but it is allways only a mind trick. If she does not fell for it and remains hopeful she is able to flee.
I felt it was pretty consistent to seperate the mind scenes and "real" scenes from one another. When Eleven and him fighitng each other in Max mind they are both on a same level, they are both not present. They are just forces invading Max mind fighting one another. So for me it made sense, thee forces can totaly beat each other while Max as a host has another standing. If you can't make the host believe you can beat her, it is not in the hosts mind and therefore not possible. The main reason why Vecna allways looks for mantally damaged people, people he can steal all hope from and make believe in thier end.

I’m sure you could’ve done a couple more parody scenes, there’s 4 seasons so a lot of material but this was great, can’t wait to see Vecna in season 5 cheer as Chrissy while the mind flayer gets killed

Yeah, season 4 has a lot of things they could use.
Like how the army chased Eleven the whole season, then just stopped.
Or how bad was the emotional talk that Dustin had with Eddie's uncle.
Or that there should be a portal to the upside down in the middle of a road where Nancy's friend died, and was never addressed.
But Vecna created the mind flayer

I think he couldn't because she started resisting, since it's all mental if she focuses enough (like in that scene) he has a harder time using his powers on her.
I actually think he can’t use the telekinesis when it’s just in their mind scape. Even before when he was restraining Max, he was using the Upside Down vines, not telekinesis.

I think part of Eddie's motivation was knowing what he was getting into even if they *did* succeed: as far as he knew, he still couldn't make a case for himself that none of it was his fault and/or he isn't crazy.

considering how El got the special/secret/national forces on her side they could've totally cleared that out
As much as Eddie is probably my favorite, if he did survive he would have ended up on death row or something for all the murders blamed on him.
On the other hand, the star witness for the prosecution died in an "earthquake" and he has a lot of people who could testify as character witnesses that he wouldn't commit murder.
It wouldn't be difficult to build a case around the whole thing being a witch hunt (even the local police could attest to that.)
Why he ran from the initial murder would be hard to explain, but so is how he supposedly brutally dislocated every bone in the body of one of his pursuers when another of his pursuers was also present (the one who went on to claim Eddie did it with satanic mind powers).
The idea that he was running away from the real murderer holds a lot more water if you can argue that the lead jock was trying to pin *his own* crimes on Eddie (which is also untrue but easier to sell than the true supernatural explanation.)
I don't think it's impossible to defend him in court, but it could be difficult.
unless he escapes. The earthquake was the perfect opportunity for him to fake his own death and flew where nobody knows him. So I don't think a terribe fate was waiting for him.

The reason why Eddie stayed behind from a story perspective was to draw the bats away from Steve, Nancy and Robin they would have been so injured by them that when the Russia crew did their thing they wouldn't have been able to fight Vecna.

I think people should be a bit more concerned about the ending of that season rather than Eddie
