Damn that hurts that it got a "near mint" rating. I was hoping for that 10 too hahaha. Even gage's 9.5 was overly optimistic I guess.

What a phenomenal story. Thanks so much for making this. I feel like so many of us grew up knowing of this card and wondering if Tyler was still around or his own fate. I'm happy to see he's doing well, and while a bit of the magic will seemingly be gone when it changes hands, it's at least his decision and that's the way it ultimately should be.

This is a really sweet video. It's very heartwarming.
One thing I would recommend at some point though is to hire someone(s) to dub over everything in japanese too, since this video is open to people that may not speak English as well. People are more inclined to click on something if it's in their own language rather than just in subtitles. I think it's a really nice video though all the same ^_^

Honestly, one of the people saying "Yu-Ji-Oh" during the vid really felt heartwarming for some reason. Maybe because they did all of this without even really knowing what was going on? It's hard to imagine some peopel doing that. It's swee that it did happen though.

Let me put it this way card sold for half the value of a perfect graded black lotus as a 7 if that card had been a ten it likely would have been the single highest selling card of all time. There is no other peice of cardboard with the history rarity and humanity tied to it.

This video clearly answered a question I had in my head: is a 10 grade the best version of the card in existence or the best possible version of the card that could theoretically exist. It’s clearly the latter, because otherwise this card would need to have been a 10 regardless of grading.
