These NASCAR looking uniforms are ridiculous looking. There are some cool ass flights, why not make some fitted cool looking jerseys instead of these big ass jersey that look like a dress? ( yeah i get it a lot of the players are fat, but for the none fat players at least). The idea is that your every day fans would wear as a fashion like a basketball jersey, or baseball jersey. People would be like, " wow cool shirt, what is that shirt? Oh... it's darts live, what is darts live?" That's how you start conversations and draw in more potential players, free marketing pretty much. The machines and the brand is too Japanese. I am cool with it, I love Japanese stuff. But many others in North America think it's dorky and geeky. The web site lay out is also very Japanese. To the western eyes, or at least to the North American eyes it's not very user friendly and not build with conversion architecture (people with web design back ground would know exactly what I am talking about). So far most of the people that play are Asians (your every day players that actually give the company money that is). This sport and the brand has so much more potential but the branding and marketing needs to be more international. The old legends are amazing to watch, but to draw in more audience and players you would need to scout out more players that are marketable. You have a poster, you want people to be like, "woh what is that? Some cool looking dudes and some pretty girls. What? darts?" And get people to become curious. Cathy Leung for example is marketable. So much wasted potential of a very fun sport. Yes people do judge a book by its cover, so fuck man do a good cover, Jesus!
