Just extraordinary!!! Once our re-inhabited Republic here in America is completed, millions of us will be looking for all these 'heirloom' garden ideas, pottery making, fruit orchards, fermenting drinks and foods, canning, bee keeping, permaculture etc. When the people are 'free' there is no limit to what we can all create and trade amongst ourselves. We just need to keep the criminals from having their way any more.
Cheers to this, 8 years after your comment I feel we are finally getting closer to this ideal. First we will experience destruction but more and more people are waking up to the need for the change in this direction.
And, here we are in 2021, and all that is white is racist. Lol! How times change Love your neighbor, regardless of race and the pendulum swing will be much less painful : )
Fantastic ideas! Any idea what the black material is she is using to tie the willow together? A cloth material perhaps or leather? In some of her more recent videos it looks like she is perhaps using zip ties? Whatever she is using, it looks nicer than the twine others use. I realize the ties are temporary until the willow self-grafts but want things to look neat to appease my neighbors. I'm the "hippie" in the conservative Central NY village.
Yard on small lake is full of willows and Virginia Creepers, it’s wasteful to clear when there is such earnest desire to be here. What variety of willow will work, have wild willow entrenched!
Love what you’re doing! I have been told to be mindful of where I plant willow because it can really make a mess of water pipes underground. Is this a concern of yours?
