Honestly. Making a video series of this where you, Fauna and Irys play this on anonymous accounts offline would be great. I loved this stream but I think experiencing this game as it's kinda intended instead of having a million people following and sponsoring you is what makes this game fun.
The series would be fun to watch to see you three learn, fail and overcome things as they go and try to do quests.

Kinda feel bad when streamers first play OSRS because of the amount of people just spamming trade offers and killing absolutely everything in sight instead of giving them a moment to figure out how the game even works. I'm sure Nerissa and other streamers know what they're getting themselves into to some degree when they do these kinds of streams, I just hope it doesn't ruin her initial thoughts of the game. There's a ton of fun to be had in OSRS and I really hope she plays this off stream for a bit to get a more formal first impression of the game.
runescape is a game you journey through yourself to see if you enjoy it, not taking massive handouts and overbearing amount of help. They aren't actually playing the game at all..their fans are doing it for them.
Most streamers dont bother afterwards when this happens and is not entertaining to watch.
When she actually said she wanted dragon bones and accepted them i quitted the stream... i was hoping she would have fun experiencing new things such as killing things she didnt know, crafting something or learning new skills, but no, she instantly begged for items when she first stepped on Lumbridge... meh

As a long time osrs player I was so excited to hear you were going to play. It was cool to see you in game but I hope people do chill a little bit so you can actually play the game, the early prayer will be nice but its not exactly a normal progression path and a lot of it wont be important until much later in the game. I could write a lot about the game but I dont want this to be the length of an essay, I hope you can just have a fun time exploring next stream

Thank you for the Stream Rissa, just finished the VOD since I had to leave just after you got 69 Prayer 🦴, there were so many jailbirds to meet you off tutorial island , 74 Prayer, a few agility and magic levels as well as completing Waterfall quest in the first day is a great start to this journey!

This is currently my favorite hololive stream of all time. Followed around alching on my account the whole time. Hope the runelite perms go through. Bone training on runelite could be like 6x faster with some nifty menu swap options and entity hider. Really looking forward to next time you play, but don't be afraid of going places with an empty inventory. Inventory space is the most important thing in this game

Nerissa told us that her heels don't count.. but everyone else plays by the rules of their height includes shoes, Ina and Shiori have said so. So if we are playing fair and square, Nerissa isn't actually as tall as she says she is without her heels. Height charts always have them with their OG design, shoes and all. There was a stream where Kiara talks about being taller than Calli with shoes off but since the height INCLUDES the shoes, Calli is only taller because she has heels on.

Been playing OSRS again for a few years, racked up over 8k hours an I absolutely love the game. I would love more OSRS streams. Hopefully you and everyone who play it learn all the intricacies and get used to all the shortcuts. It can be daunting at times, but it's an amazing game.
If you have any tips that a newbie like me would understand, please feel free to share your wisdom! I tried to watch a few videos to prepare, but they all were really confusing as they'd just say "go do this!" Without much context, like talking about it as if I should've already known that info despite basically being a beginner. Would appreciate your wisdom!
@@NerissaRavencroft Figured I would jump in a leave a couple small tips. The osrs wiki is one of the best game wikis, it will help a lot in understanding things even if all the terms dont make sense at the moment. Just be careful its not the fandom wiki as that is old and outdated. Gameplay wise picking a couple small goals whether its doing a few easy quests or leveling a few skills and then getting advice what to do from there is best. If you have something to work towards you'll start to pick up things on the way. Things like waterfall quest are efficient since they give you a lot of early levels but its also not the most straightforward thing to do as a new player. Unless you want to do the really efficient route in which case thats an entirely different set of advice. There's so many things to go over as a new player I could probably write endlessly, so I just tried to pick a couple small things, hope this helps a little
@@NerissaRavencroft You can move the camera by holding the middle mouse button down, you may need to enable it in settings though. The in-game settings menu has a search bar at the top, and if you can find some interesting options if you search for the following: Camera, Scaling, Graphics, Tile, Agility, Accept trade delay, Quests
If you switch to RuneLite, some of those settings are implemented as plugins instead, so you won't find them in the in-game settings.

Ok, there’s only so much I can explain as a written comment without pictures but I’ll do my best lol. As you’ve seen, OSRS is a fairly detailed game in terms of user interfaces/options. There’s a few settings that can help you out when streaming. In the lower left portion of the screen, you have the tabs “All, Game, Public, Private, Channel, Clan, and Trade”. You can change any of those tabs by right clicking on them and selecting the option you want. I would HIGHLY recommend setting “Public” to “Show None”. Some people like to spam and say naughty things in chat which may cause an issue for streamers. I would also recommend always having “Private” set to “Friends” so people can’t direct message you in game. Also, if you get tired of everyone trying to trade you, you can also set “Trade” to “Friends” as well.
One of the biggest resources is the “OSRS Wiki”, it’s an insane amount of knowledge in one place. All you need to do is Google it and it’s the first result. You can search for any item, monster, level-up tables, training methods, quest guides, etc. It’s not perfect, but it will give you a better idea of what you’re looking for.
In terms of video tutorials/beginner’s guide, I would recommend watching “Theoatrix, A Guide for New Old School Runescape Players (Full Beginner Guide)” on RUclips. He goes over a lot of basic things on how to navigate the game. It’s about 30 min long, but there’s soooo much he covers. The video is a little old and some things have changed, but it’s the best overall quick guide I can find.

@@NerissaRavencroft The single best resource is the Official Old School Runescape wiki! Every item, skill and monster in the game has an article detailing just about everything you could want to know about it. There are lots of guides for different activities, including a New Player Guide if you look it up in the search bar. It's hard to make one all encompassing guide because Runescape has so many parts, but the new player guide does a decent job and religious use of the wiki should help fill in the inevitable blanks.
