A good song that has been poorly mixed. The ride cymbal is overpowering everything.
i don't think so. the mix gives the song the perfect vibe!
I agree that the ride cymbal is a bit too "washy" in the mix. But the album is recorded and mixed in such way to give the listener a certain vibe (a more "nostalgic" one in my opinion. It sounds 60's) and it achieves that in a perfect way.
