Never heard hammer, tack driver yes. Never a hammer.
Came here to say almost exactly this... a .375 H&H is a Hammer...an accurate .22 is a Tack-driver.
Getting visions of The Mystery Men's Sphinx here...( If you can balance a Tack-hammer on your head, you will head-off your opponent with a balanced attack. lol) Sorry.
hear it all the time, depends what crowd you are with
You guys nailed it with this one
AHHH I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE!
That was a fun watch. Worked better than I thought it would.
I’ve heard Hammer, nail driver, knot knocker, pin driver, head popper but tack driver is the most common.
Not gonna lie...That was pretty damn entertaining.
In all my years around guns I have never heard someone say my rifle is a hammer. I have however heard the term my rifle is a tack driver
I think y’all mean “tack driver” in this case because a “hammer” is heavy hitting and a 22 is not a “heavy” hitter
Next up, hammering in railway spikes with 12ga slugs
@@Intimidator82 that would be cool
🤓
I mean I have a very small tack hammer that would b the same and is still called a hammer
This needs to be a competition.
Teco nails (used for attaching sheet metal joist hangers, hurricane clips, etc) would be a much better nail choice for this, they are short, thick, and have very thick and heavy heads that wouldn't bend or warp as much as a lot of other nails would.
I've only ever heard of large caliber high velocity cartridges like a 300 PRC being referenced as hammers. Hence they hit hard. 😊
When we did this years ago, we used roofing nails. Shorter length and larger head.
Nice tack driver
It’s about to get a lot more interesting on my framing crew
I am not surprised that you or your rifle are that accurate, I am however very flabbergasted that you managed to get a small caliber rifle up to around 10k 🤯
It’s amazing what those guns can do, great job
That was really cool I want to give that a try now
Nobody talking about how that cz457 basically factory except the chassis always hangs with that high dollar vudoo hmmmm
"Insert Tack Driver Joke* right here
Great video!!! Unbelievable setups!
Them are insane accurate that’s awesome
This was a great video. Very enjoyable
Always enjoy the content, the production quality really highlights how much fun you all are having.
Unrelated to the video, I’m interested to know if you adjust your zero at the zero time on the morning of a match or do you just leave your zero setting and make mental note of the shift?
So now we know what Canadians do in the springtime. Very amusing.
Yeah that went just as I expected it to.
Put the glasses, Kevin!!! 😳
Hammerschlaggen with guns! I love it!
It's Hammer Time! 🔨
Great video, loved the outtakes lol
Looked like a load of fun
$10k to hit a nail head at 20yards? They saw YOU coming. If you’re not hitting nail heads at 100 yards with your $200 CZ, then no amount of money you throw at a rifle is going to help you.
Talkin about a nail in the coffin...
Next, try a railroad spike at 50 yards
Back in the day Dad would shoot down our Christmas tree with his .22 lol
Hey Womfat, if you were spending around 1k on a 22lr target type rifle what would you buy ?, I am looking closely at a CZ 457 Varmint
Can't you see that cz shoots just as good as the vudoo should be a no brainer
@@jacobtyner6629 who asked you ?
would have like to see this at a farther distance to make it a challenge
Not gonna work for finish carpentry though. 😂
Wow, those are spiral nails too. It’s hard to drive those in straight with a hammer
Schluter beanie? Set tile with a gun?
Kevin's nail was not centered as good if you look before they took their first shots.
A Rifle like a hammer is a tool.
The new dueling tree
I suppose the next experiment will be if a rifle can be used as a tack driver. Anyone can hit the globe that is the head of a nail...but can you tap in a tack!
Do it again but this time pre drill the hole in the wood to where the nail has just enough tension to not go all the way through. That way if you do have a soft spot in the wood it would be more fare kind of
Amazing skill, I would need a rail nail just to hit it. LOL
omg... xDDDDD i was realy thought that they are gonna pick their rifles and hammer those nails with rifle, but they shoot it🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Is my rifle a hammer? Short answer……..no! Ha ha!
A hammer like the one you showed, i could slam those nails through in 2 shots. Especially after they're already through the wood 😅
Color me impressed, but can you do it with a 338lm or 300wm at 300 yards? 😂
308 at 200 yards. As far as my local range goes out too
To bad my eyes are starting to go. I'd be lucky to do it at 50 nowadays.
fun stuff
The most accurate firearm I’ve ever shot was a .20 vartarg? Some spelling like that absolutely amazing rifle and cartridge just good for varmints and small game though
My favorite hunting rifle is still my model 700 in .264 win mag
Both of the firearms I refrenced are insanely accurate
The vartarg is a tack driver and I guess the .264 would qualify as a hammer
So cool! Subbed!
Come in what's called penny ,a 10 penny
Is that REALLY a $10,000 dollar 22lr🤔?
Tack driver
They should have done this with the brand Hämmerli 😅
A vortex razor gen 3 and 25 yards I figured ull try 70 to 100
Those are some expensive nail sets
Really fun video, ignore the hate in the comments, its a sign your channel is growing. I've heard many shooters call their 22 rifles a HAMMER, its normal to hear
Fly swatter is more fun. Bring a strip of bacon next time.
#OUTSTANDING VIDEO THNX
you should do this at 100 yards
Hell ya!
$10,000 22lr. Bro you're straight up capital S. S.T.U.P.I.D if you payed that much for a rifle... my $97 walmart marlin will do the exact same thing.
Nail guns
Video starts at 2:53
luke mcfadden is right every thing is a hammer
I hope you were joking about that 22lr costing 10k!
He wasn’t when you add up MRSP.
Scope alone can cost 4k if you dont know how to buy it. I got mine for 2.5k.
How do you spend 10k on a .22? Someone ate your lunch money
My 22 is cheaper than your actual hammer. I paid 200 bucks for a Brno no5 that has just turned 50 years old and still shoots .2 off an inch at 50yrd.
Tack driver. Not hammer. Stop trying to woke reinvent what's already tried and tested.
Orange and chartreuse? 🙄
20 yards 😂😂😂
lol
😆
concrete nails work better
Ff
They say their name at the beginning of the video, like I know who they are.Or even care who they are
