@@DuBstep115you can get a mk1 TT for $20k in the states I have a TTRS mk3 cost me $55k 5 years ago and I used Carvana to see about a trade in and it’s worth $48k literally today and no I don’t daily drive it. It’s a stage 3 on e so I wouldn’t get that anyways but I’m also not selling this car at all. I just wanted to see and boy was I surprised it has held on to its value for sure and it’s wrapped so the original paint job I’d imagine is close to perfect especially being 5 years old. I'm really impressed by the cooling because the coolant stays around 90C (if it's accurate) & oil stays around 120C to 123C without going more than 125C from what I can see.
On almost all modern cars the water temp gage does not show the real temperature. It will show 90 degrees to not "stress" the drivers, until certain threshold is reached (usually around 115 - 120C).

Strange behaviour from the tacho/engine, like sometimes you can go to 7k and the car sometime is telling you to upshift early like at 5K (and i assume thats was the soft limiter engaging every time the tacho flash red ?).

I would love video (or an update) as to the basic upgrades you would require for a Ring lap of someones car. I've seen you discuss brakes, tires and shocks. But I'm curious about things often missed like bushings, ball joints, shock mounts, trans/diff fluid, etc.
Great driver and great unique car, it's dizzying to watch the video, you feel the speed... TT RS is the sexiest car of all the RS and the strongest in terms of emotions. After 4 years with an R8 V8 that I lost in a total accident :( this past summer I'm definitely going to buy a TT RS Roadster version. I think Audi crowned itself again with the last TT RS 8S, it's a shame that Audi stops making the two great jewels in the crown, the Audi R8 and the TT :(

@@vitaltrina yo entiendo que es por que se superan los 120 grados. Creo que llega a 122 o 123 y es cuando el coche no le dejaba pasar de 5.000rpm y se ponía a parpadear en rojo impidiendo subir de vueltas
si pero el aceite a 120-125 grados es mas que aceptable teniendo en cuenta que tiene 600 cv casi y que estan dandole caña, un buen aceite aguanta eso y mas, no obstante no estaria de mas meter o mejroar algo mas el tema del aceite par que no pase de 100-110.. pero dudo que a no ser que en la reprogramación hayan incluido protecciones por temp de aceite el coche se cape por eso... suelen caparse por IAT o temperaturas de escape pero por temp de aceite no @@jeffrytdi9040
@@vitaltrina puede ser también, temperaturas de los gases de escape pero teniendo downpipe como es el caso me extraña pero podría ser. También es cierto que hay gente que reprograma el coche con Stage 2 y no mejora ni el enfriamiento de aceite, ni del aceite de la caja, ni el refrigerante. Es un RS, pero no olvidemos que las piezas que trae son para 400cv de serie y no para 550hp. No sólo basta con meter downpipe y admisión y un repro.

As a TT RS owner, this makes me happy.
Rev counter flashing well before red line = limp style mode, some sort of issue, the way it resolved itself with a bit of early up-shifts seems to indicate heat issues still.
We found the battery was in Bad condition next day. Was sorted then. 🎉🎉 there is allways something to improve after such a hot lap.

I wish the 5 cylinder in my Volvo C70 would sound like that! It´s simply amazing. Very nice lap with some awesome overtakes. The speed gap in Kesselchen was a bit scary. But everybody did well behave. Except the white BMW E36 who honked at you at the exit! 😏

RS3/TTRS is the most capable car under 50k you can buy even tho TTRS cost only like 20k

@@DuBstep115you can get a mk1 TT for $20k in the states I have a TTRS mk3 cost me $55k 5 years ago and I used Carvana to see about a trade in and it’s worth $48k literally today and no I don’t daily drive it. It’s a stage 3 on e so I wouldn’t get that anyways but I’m also not selling this car at all. I just wanted to see and boy was I surprised it has held on to its value for sure and it’s wrapped so the original paint job I’d imagine is close to perfect especially being 5 years old. Needless to say though I effin love my car bro I’m so glad I got this over the mustang SOOOOOO Glad lol!!
I'm really impressed by the cooling because the coolant stays around 90C (if it's accurate) & oil stays around 120C to 123C without going more than 125C from what I can see.
On almost all modern cars the water temp gage does not show the real temperature. It will show 90 degrees to not "stress" the drivers, until certain threshold is reached (usually around 115 - 120C).

misha... @6:25 did the car trick you into shifting by flashing the tach at 5.5k rpm's? I love how this tt has a suggestion system that tells you where the torque is going to be, anytime you had it in the green at the apex, you were pulling mad G's and the car knew it.

Has anyone else noticed how the car was limiting revs from Bergwerk on? Maybe something to do with the oil temperature which went over 120⁰C at that point?

There was a battery issue we sorted the next day. Allways something to improve after visiting the Ring. 😂😂

@@Emil-fx7pg it was getting to hot in the rear because of the hot exhaust. Was not a Standard Battery we used. Lighter but looks not good enought for Nordschleife

Strange behaviour from the tacho/engine, like sometimes you can go to 7k and the car sometime is telling you to upshift early like at 5K (and i assume thats was the soft limiter engaging every time the tacho flash red ?).

Great driver and great unique car, it's dizzying to watch the video, you feel the speed... TT RS is the sexiest car of all the RS and the strongest in terms of emotions. After 4 years with an R8 V8 that I lost in a total accident :( this past summer I'm definitely going to buy a TT RS Roadster version. I think Audi crowned itself again with the last TT RS 8S, it's a shame that Audi stops making the two great jewels in the crown, the Audi R8 and the TT :(

By the way, great driving my little TT car :D obviously this Is not my car, I feel I can go faster .. in Forza haha I wonder how NURB is in real life with 500hp, I had ZL1 before Camaro that was 560 HP but chassis worse than TT at least for turns, not cray worse, but it would be heavier, TT if I get it to 350-450HP would match the Camaro or faster on Track, the ZL1 or even the ZR1 Corv.

Si te puedes fijar, varias veces el coche no le dejaba subir de revoluciones por que estaba subiendo demasiado la temperatura
pero no sera por temperaturas de aceite ni nada de eso, sinceramente me parece MUY raro que un coche que mantiene la temperatura a 120C de aceite y agua perfecto tenga problemas de temperaturas y que lo cape el coche... mas bien tendrá algún otro problema@@jeffrytdi9040
@@vitaltrina yo entiendo que es por que se superan los 120 grados. Creo que llega a 122 o 123 y es cuando el coche no le dejaba pasar de 5.000rpm y se ponía a parpadear en rojo impidiendo subir de vueltas
si pero el aceite a 120-125 grados es mas que aceptable teniendo en cuenta que tiene 600 cv casi y que estan dandole caña, un buen aceite aguanta eso y mas, no obstante no estaria de mas meter o mejroar algo mas el tema del aceite par que no pase de 100-110.. pero dudo que a no ser que en la reprogramación hayan incluido protecciones por temp de aceite el coche se cape por eso... suelen caparse por IAT o temperaturas de escape pero por temp de aceite no

@@vitaltrina puede ser también, temperaturas de los gases de escape pero teniendo downpipe como es el caso me extraña pero podría ser. También es cierto que hay gente que reprograma el coche con Stage 2 y no mejora ni el enfriamiento de aceite, ni del aceite de la caja, ni el refrigerante. Es un RS, pero no olvidemos que las piezas que trae son para 400cv de serie y no para 550hp. No sólo basta con meter downpipe y admisión y un repro.
