As someone that's been thinking about trying this type of underwear for a while now, I really appreciated the video- and the amount of time and money you put into it!
This video is now 2.5 years old, so Krakatoa may not have been an option when this was done, but are now my favorite. I liked the Saxx underwear UNTIL I found Krakatoa, which are the best I've tried yet. They're having a sale today, and I just purchased 7 more pairs at a 40% discount. I just jumped on RUclips first to see what compares, but IMO, they seem to be the best option going, and I've been super happy with my introductory pair (for $10) over the past 6 months with zero issues. I love the material and the pouch...as well as the black color design - which I now own 8 pairs of! Now to find the best black T-shirts!
I have the separatec bamboo, and i love them. it just a bit uncomfortable at the very front area for someone who has been circumcised wearing pants with zip because the fabric is thin and soft.
I have just tried my first ‘fancy’ undies - been wearing tighty whities my whole life. Got David Archy bamboo boxer briefs. They feel wonderful! The silky bamboo rayon and spandex are great. They don’t have a pouch or pocket but they do have extra space built in to the front. If not a pocket or pouch… alcove maybe? Still getting used to that free swinging feeling it gives me.

This video is 3 years old. I used to buy separatec, they were great and recently I bought a new back, disappointed. They run smaller and there is less room for the boys. I think I bought a four pack, I didn't wear all of them till I gave up on them. The ones I am wearing right now are Real Men underwear. The only weird thing is they have different cups sizes. I think I got size D, I figured it's better to have more room than wind up with little bit of room. They have a website and they can be bought in Amazon as well
NB don’t have a proper pouch but those boxers holds it shape very well tho and I really like the fabric, if they release a updated version with a actual pouch would be great.

Update: Try Hanes total support pouch. I’ve tried Separatec and I think Hanes are a lot more comfortable, at a fraction of the price. At the end of the day, I want pouch boxers to hug my butt, not my junk, give me room to move throughout the day, and keep the sides from sticking to my thighs. I personally don’t need the support from below, (although they do that some as well, just not the overkill like some other brands. It took Hanes a bit to catch up to the smaller more expensive brands, but they succeeded and are just plane better at any price, but for about 1/5 the cost.
I applaud your efforts on behalf of your best underwear search. I have tried all those brands and plenty of other brands as well. I am not a fan of any them. I love pouch or pocket underwear, love the comfort, the freedom of movement and nothing falls out. Those brands all stated pouch underwear 😝, not really, in my opinion ! My ultimate fav is wildmanT; briefs, boxer, jock or thong, plenty of room! Then some others that are worth a try are Obviously and Cocksox (but you have to get the one that state original pouch) thanks for the informative video! From another dadbod.
I tried the sheath ones after hearing a lot of hype. It was overpiced junk. You're right. They're only good when you're just standing still. Even just sitting down causes the pouch to want to go back to its original position...which for me felt like it was trying to cut off my circulation. I tried to give them several chances. But each time I come to the same conclusion. And even when just standing still, I feel noticeable pressure. I've been wearing Exofficial for years now. They're expensive, but most of them have held up very well, and they're the most comfortable I've had so far. But they aren't perfect. They don't perfectly prevent chafing or handle the heat as well as I would like.
@@TheDadBod Awesome. I must say that one of the outstanding things about Exofficial is that they are absurdly durable. I had some of my pairs for almost a decade, and they're fine. I haven't had to replace any but two of them yet, and those two I think it was my fault that I dried them on too high of heat. It didn't destroy them, but it made them bad fitting.
New Balance has great trunks that keep you dry and comfortable for a great price. Great alternative to under armor and I think they fit better than Adidas. Ergowear has perfected their pouch underwear. Expensive but the pouch is anatomically correct.
@@TheDadBod Youlehe has cool designs like the typography and it's boxer trunks instead of the usually cycling shorts looking boxer briefs which doesn't look good (it still didn't look good when Mark Wahlberg made it famous). Also I thought bamboo rayon was Separatec's best fabric but somehow their Micro Modal's better coz' it's more expensive? I think if it wasn't impractical the loin cloth is the most comfortable that still support especially you use bamboo rayon, it's proven for thousands of years since the beginning of history and currently by tribes in the amazon- if you could buy a strip of bamboo rayon maybe try the loincloth design to find out. It's like a straight razor used for thousands of years, is still the best although the safety razor is more practical.:-) Thanks. God bless.
IMO Shinesty is the best. They're the closest to silk, but I haven't tried the Seperatec Bamboo yet ( just ordered some because of this video tho). The Bn3th are okay but the pouch is not that great as they sort of wrap around the side of the jewels. This can give that boxers are riding up feeling. I find myself adjusting quite often in Bn3th. The Saxx are also just okay. However, if you have bigger thighs or workout a lot. The bottom hems will seem tight and indent on your legs a little. The Seperatec is my second favorite. I bought the 8" seams and they aren't bad at all. All Citizens is another good one. They have a similar pouch to Bn3th but better. The only cons are that the fly is a little weird, and I think they sit a little lower on the waist.
I just got my 9/ ST601X-HLBHLGHLA3 SuperSoft Micromodal Boxer Briefs this past Friday. They were my first pouch underwear ever. I absolutely love them and still can’t get over how comfortable they are! Before trying separatec I was just a standard boxers kind of person and didn’t get into liking briefs whenever I tried them out. Now with trying separatec it’s a game changer. I honestly believe that all kinds of briefs these days should all have the 2 pouch’s. Down the road I will eventually try separatecs bamboo ones out to add to the collection. I am definitely hearing from lots of people that separatec is by far #1 for the 2 pouch design. Someone’s review said they would put David Archy’s 2 pouch in second place. The 2 pouch makes it a lot easier when needing to use the restroom. Thanks for the review again 😎

Beneath is so inconsistent and they have like 5-6 diff ones and all made of diff fabric. If you wanna try them use the classic for the soft fabric. After 3-6 months the bands started scrunching up and they def shrub a little. I think once they were bought out from being MyPackage the quality really dropped. Interested to try the other ones you liked though. Thanks for the video
I 100% recommend the Separatec underwear. For men, like myself, who have really low hanging balls the Separatec do a FANTASTIC job and keeping your balls and penis separated and they won’t stick causing that uncomfortable feeling.
Normally, I do extensive research before I subscribe, to make sure I dont have to deal with anyone who is going to hate me in the future for my economic ideals (conservative)... You’ve earned the subscription without the investigation. I certainly hope there are many more reviews like this one! Outstanding.
I have tried a few different brands and my favorite so far are the Champion brand total support pouch boxer briefs. They sell both a cotton blend and a spandex polyester version. I love both versions but prefer the cotton most days. My least favorite has been the Hanes spandex blend, I'm a bigger guy and the waistband folds over a lot and it's annoying. The band on the Champion brand has held up amazingly after many months of wears and washes.

I read reviews on Amazon of people's bananas falling out of the hidey hole. I haven't had that problem at all. I've had them on all day and they've been fantastic. The few times I've finished in the bathroom and forgot to put the banana back in the hole it was a quick fix. At no point did I feel like I needed to fix myself or shift anything. I have been a SAXX wearer for over 7 years now. They last extremely long. As for the fly, you just bought the wrong ones. I prefer the Ultra Fly fit which as the name entails comes with a fly. They are my favorite and most comfortable. Only downside for me is the cost, but they will last several years.
Also a saxx fan. I dig the newer Volt line the beat( no fly, but I'm a pull the waist down guy). Plus no fly is great for workouts if your jumping and moving about. They are equally great for lounging and can also attest to the fact they last for years.
I've worn SAXX for years and I've recommended them to many others too who have made the switch. I have spent hundreds of dollars on them too over the years. I specifically purchase the vibe model. I must say though, the last few pairs I have bought I have been extremely irritated with. The material has lost all aspects of the form-fitting stretchiness and the material has been so thin that I get tears in the bottom of them on the back of the middle under seam where the pouch is attached to the underside of the boxers. Basically, every pear that "wears out" does so in the exact same spot... every time. I have some pairs that I have purchased 4+ years ago that have lasted longer than a handful of pairs I purchased around Christmas time. and for the premium price of the SAXX name paying 30-40 dollars for one single pair thats pretty BS. so I am now looking for another brand to change to, hence why I'm here watching this...
I have just ordered two different pouch underwear. 2 pair of Separatic dual pouch, and 3 pair of the David Archy pouch trunks. They should be delivered today. I have been wearing Mack Weldon's Soft cotton trunks, and they are extremely comfortable, and I don't get any chafing when I walk a lot. They also have almost no wear after about a year. Before that I was wearing the Blue waffle textured Calvin Klein trunks that Costco used to sell. I still have a couple pair of those that are 10+ years old that only have slight wear. Those were fantastic underwire, but they are no longer available and the current CK underwear that Costco sells are junk. They didn't last a year. Sofar I have to say that the Mack Weldon's are the most comfortable I have ever owned. I am anxious to try the pouch underwear though.

The Seperatec bamboo very comfortable, but also VERY thin and the twig can slip out on occasion. Also Very unflattering look to them. On me they would also very quickly ride up/bunch up BUT couldn't actually feel it as material so thin. IF comfort is #1 priority I can't knock them in that department. At some point I want to try their cotton version as I think I might like those better. Kracatoah (forgive the spelling) very comfortable fabric, didn't ride up, but pretty expensive for just good, and Sheath was ok but not in love lol. Shinesty ball hammock didn't care for those. Wish I could definitively state "the best underwear is...." but the truth is, one brand will be best for some and another brand the best for others-just gotta try them.
as a thin/fit guy, i just want my ballpark away from my exhaust port. the flag pole and ballpark can be in the same area, i just dont want them going backwards. most "pouch" kind of do this, until i start moving, then i have to pull my ballpark up to get everything back in place and away from the exit door. the wife is not happy with me at these times. what is the best brand for helping me out here?
I luv the whole built in pouch idea. Ive tried Hanes pouch briefs and boxerbriefs n they worked fine in keeping my package in place…until i had to take a piss then i had to awkwardly readjust everything into place in the pouch, which is not fun to do if ur at a public urinals wit others around in the men’s washroom.
I love the bamboo sepretec I bought another 3 pack a few weeks ago cause I get a little depressed on days where I end up wearing a different brand. LOL.
I bought these to try based on your recommendation: Separatec Men's underwear 3 pack Basic Bamboo Rayon Soft Breathable dual pouch boxer briefs. One thing you failed to mention was growers and showers. I had rejected the design early in my search for a new style of underwear for the reason detailed below. I got a little confused as to what was what and bought a 3 pack to test drive. If you are a grower, like me, that second pouch is essentially useless. I just feel like I have a a big blob of extra cloth in the crotch. Will be looking for something else.
Great video but you should use animations. My 2 cents: The Saxx underwear should almost be in another category due to their price(way to high). And The Shinesty underwear is a subscription so it doesn’t matter as much if the material isn’t up to par(I heard they revamped or are revamping their material!
I heard they were going to be refining their fabrics. I might try them again at sone point. You don’t need a subscription for them. They have a shop option too. In case you were interested. You can choose which one you get with the shop.
Generally, I’ve found the dual pouch/ hammock design a waste of time, I think the design is just a marketing gimmick unless your boys hang really low. A good pouch design, incorporating a fly, preferably a horizontal one, is fantastic.
The Hanes one's destroyed my inner thighs. They have that hard rough seam on the pouch. After a couple days it had my groin/inner thighs raw and almost bloody.
I completely agree Duluth Armachillo Bullpen is my daily absolute favorite. I'm a very athletic and outgoing hairless guy so this is why it is best. Tested for years and approved.

It was the fromundacheese for me. I laughed so loud only dogs could hear. Respect. I cannot believe how long its taken to find decent underwear. I hate that its an issue. I move alot at work and when i come home i peel my undies off i hate it. I have been looking for 3 weeks and im at my witts end ready to make another bad choice. I have already purchased 2 weeks worth of undies only to discover the basket only holds children and of course no refunds allowed. The second set i purchased a weeks worth and they where a complete write off. I now have to buy them in onesies so i can try them but its irritating because sometimes they don't have my size or mistakes happen and you get the wrong size. Iv tried on so many different kinds its unreal. The best fitting ,feeling, looking and supportive for me turne out to be either Fruit of the Loom Microfiber solid colors, no lace pr frills just everyday bikini panties. Or Shadowline satin bikini bikinis. Soft Stretchie very supportive wide gusset
Have you reviewed the Real Men Apparel pouch underwear? They're great, come in sizes from XS to 5X, and have a unique A-D pouch size system. I take the 5X size, with either the C or D Pouches, depending on material. They allow room for my increasing "morning wood." Give 'em a try if you haven't yet.

The Separatec fit is better than Sheath. As far as penis length it will probably accommodate up to 6.5 inches or 16.51cm hard.

After 3-6 months the bands started scrunching up and they def shrub a little. I think once they were bought out from being MyPackage the quality really dropped. I 100% recommend the Separatec underwear. For men, like myself, who have really low hanging balls the Separatec do a FANTASTIC job and keeping your balls and penis separated and they won’t stick causing that uncomfortable feeling.

I have tried a few different brands and my favorite so far are the Champion brand total support pouch boxer briefs. They sell both a cotton blend and a spandex polyester version. I love both versions but prefer the cotton most days. My least favorite has been the Hanes spandex blend, I'm a bigger guy and the waistband folds over a lot and it's annoying. The band on the Champion brand has held up amazingly after many months of wears and washes.

I read reviews on Amazon of people's bananas falling out of the hidey hole. I haven't had that problem at all. I've had them on all day and they've been fantastic. The few times I've finished in the bathroom and forgot to put the banana back in the hole it was a quick fix. At no point did I feel like I needed to fix myself or shift anything. Saxx ultra have a fly and the vibea have the fancy colours since ive been buying them in BC for 5 years or so . I prefer the saxx ultra black
I have been a SAXX wearer for over 7 years now. They last extremely long. As for the fly, you just bought the wrong ones. I prefer the Ultra Fly fit which as the name entails comes with a fly. They are my favorite and most comfortable. Only downside for me is the cost, but they will last several years.
I do like the Saxx. I’m wearing them right now oddly enough.
Good thing you mentioned I have to make sure I get the right ones. With a fly. I usually free ball but the sack sticking makes me wanna try the saxx
Also a saxx fan. I dig the newer Volt line the beat( no fly, but I'm a pull the waist down guy). Plus no fly is great for workouts if your jumping and moving about. They are equally great for lounging and can also attest to the fact they last for years.
And they are easy to pull down. The B3Neath ones are a bit more difficult to maneuver to pee.
I've worn SAXX for years and I've recommended them to many others too who have made the switch. I have spent hundreds of dollars on them too over the years. I specifically purchase the vibe model. I must say though, the last few pairs I have bought I have been extremely irritated with. The material has lost all aspects of the form-fitting stretchiness and the material has been so thin that I get tears in the bottom of them on the back of the middle under seam where the pouch is attached to the underside of the boxers. Basically, every pear that "wears out" does so in the exact same spot... every time. I have some pairs that I have purchased 4+ years ago that have lasted longer than a handful of pairs I purchased around Christmas time. and for the premium price of the SAXX name paying 30-40 dollars for one single pair thats pretty BS. so I am now looking for another brand to change to, hence why I'm here watching this...

I have just ordered two different pouch underwear. 2 pair of Separatic dual pouch, and 3 pair of the David Archy pouch trunks. They should be delivered today. I have been wearing Mack Weldon's Soft cotton trunks, and they are extremely comfortable, and I don't get any chafing when I walk a lot. They also have almost no wear after about a year. Before that I was wearing the Blue waffle textured Calvin Klein trunks that Costco used to sell. I still have a couple pair of those that are 10+ years old that only have slight wear. Those were fantastic underwire, but they are no longer available and the current CK underwear that Costco sells are junk. They didn't last a year. Sofar I have to say that the Mack Weldon's are the most comfortable I have ever owned. I am anxious to try the pouch underwear though.
I hope you like them as much as I do. I feel like I’m spoiled now. After wearing pouch underwear for so long, the non-pouch doesn’t feel as comfortable.

The Seperatec bamboo very comfortable, but also VERY thin and the twig can slip out on occasion. Also Very unflattering look to them. On me they would also very quickly ride up/bunch up BUT couldn't actually feel it as material so thin. IF comfort is #1 priority I can't knock them in that department. At some point I want to try their cotton version as I think I might like those better. Kracatoah (forgive the spelling) very comfortable fabric, didn't ride up, but pretty expensive for just good, and Sheath was ok but not in love lol. Shinesty ball hammock didn't care for those. Wish I could definitively state "the best underwear is...." but the truth is, one brand will be best for some and another brand the best for others-just gotta try them.

as a thin/fit guy, i just want my ballpark away from my exhaust port. the flag pole and ballpark can be in the same area, i just dont want them going backwards. most "pouch" kind of do this, until i start moving, then i have to pull my ballpark up to get everything back in place and away from the exit door. the wife is not happy with me at these times. what is the best brand for helping me out here?
The pouch on the sepretec should. You actually put your flagpole through a circle into its own pouch.
I luv the whole built in pouch idea. Ive tried Hanes pouch briefs and boxerbriefs n they worked fine in keeping my package in place…until i had to take a piss then i had to awkwardly readjust everything into place in the pouch, which is not fun to do if ur at a public urinals wit others around in the men’s washroom.

I bought these to try based on your recommendation: Separatec Men's underwear 3 pack Basic Bamboo Rayon Soft Breathable dual pouch boxer briefs. One thing you failed to mention was growers and showers. I had rejected the design early in my search for a new style of underwear for the reason detailed below. I got a little confused as to what was what and bought a 3 pack to test drive.
If you are a grower, like me, that second pouch is essentially useless. I just feel like I have a a big blob of extra cloth in the crotch. Will be looking for something else.
Great video but you should use animations. My 2 cents: The Saxx underwear should almost be in another category due to their price(way to high). And The Shinesty underwear is a subscription so it doesn’t matter as much if the material isn’t up to par(I heard they revamped or are revamping their material!
I heard they were going to be refining their fabrics. I might try them again at sone point.
You don’t need a subscription for them. They have a shop option too. In case you were interested. You can choose which one you get with the shop.

Generally, I’ve found the dual pouch/ hammock design a waste of time, I think the design is just a marketing gimmick unless your boys hang really low. A good pouch design, incorporating a fly, preferably a horizontal one, is fantastic.
Separatec's design keeps your boys in place even if they don't hang low.
The Hanes one's destroyed my inner thighs. They have that hard rough seam on the pouch. After a couple days it had my groin/inner thighs raw and almost bloody.

It was the fromundacheese for me. I laughed so loud only dogs could hear. Respect. I cannot believe how long its taken to find decent underwear. I hate that its an issue. I move alot at work and when i come home i peel my undies off i hate it. I have been looking for 3 weeks and im at my witts end ready to make another bad choice. I have already purchased 2 weeks worth of undies only to discover the basket only holds children and of course no refunds allowed. The second set i purchased a weeks worth and they where a complete write off. I now have to buy them in onesies so i can try them but its irritating because sometimes they don't have my size or mistakes happen and you get the wrong size. I have spent 5hrs in research in the last 3 weeks. Thank you for this video. I got so excited about the hanes pouch undies and thought this is it. This is where it ends and then i look closer and noticed how squished my front bump would be and was devestated as i read review after review about the stitching and the material. My most recent purchase was all citizens. They feel AMAZING and look so promising but they came in the wrong size and won't restock till may/june ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! I am going to lose it!!

Iv tried on so many different kinds its unreal. The best fitting ,feeling, looking and supportive for me turne out to be either Fruit of the Loom Microfiber solid colors, no lace pr frills just everyday bikini panties. Or Shadowline satin bikini bikinis. Soft Stretchie very supportive wide gusset
Have you reviewed the Real Men Apparel pouch underwear? They're great, come in sizes from XS to 5X, and have a unique A-D pouch size system. I take the 5X size, with either the C or D Pouches, depending on material. They allow room for my increasing "morning wood." Give 'em a try if you haven't yet.
