Just got the puma and MSFS and Aerofly Fs. Do you have any recommendations for control sensitivity settings? One for tailwheel and one for helicopters for a realistic feel? I’m trying to get them feeling familiar to real world. I fly both in real world but new to sims. Thanks for the videos and any starting point tips you can offer.
Maybe some do. I've only flown a Diamond 20 I think as far as sticks go. So definitely possible. I've never flown anything spring loaded to center personally.
I need to get back into the pilot seat of a helicopter and this simulator would be great but would like to try my hand at fixed wing so that fixed wing kit would be nice considering I have to fork out some big coin for the initial kit.
You can make a separate profile that you can chose per control. It's at the bottom to add a profile. Then select PFT Puma in the devices section and find the airplane axiis
hey, pls can you send me your sensitivity of control cause my pro flight trainer puma are note configurate and its impossible for me to calibrate it... I really need help.
Everyone Loves A Giveaway! That's Awesome, Joshua. Great Video! Keep em coming!
Hello joshua is that a collective tensioner I am seeing on your puma? Where did you get it and installation instructions.
Yea it's a little tensioner. They sent it with the early model PFT. It's just a 3d printed deal that goes over the nut like a socket.
@@JoshuaHambyOfficial Thank you Joshu. Take care and keep safe.

They all vary a bit. But I always start with the highest sensitivity and go from there. You're gona love the Puma
Isn't the lack of centering force annoying whilst flying fixed wing?
Centering force? What do you fly?
@@JoshuaHambyOfficial normally sticks have a spring, this doesn't.

I can’t seem to get the puma controls to work for fixed wing - can you show how to do that please ?
Should be able to go to controls and select what you want under Puma
@@JoshuaHambyOfficial I set the controls and the helicopter works in the discovery mode ,then I went to the cub but controls didn’t work ?
So I guess I’m asking how to assign the puma to fixed wing please ? I must be missing how to assign the setup ?
