It's a job yes, but the likelyhood of a friendship developing is quite likely.Just like you can befriend your doctor, hairstylist, and/or anyone you interact with frequently. Probably even more so then the other professions seeing as how this one is so very intimate.
I recently got into ASMR, and it made me realize how desperately people need this kind of intimacy and love, and how starved we are for this wonderful positive attention in the modern age.

Some mothers don't even love their children, some aren't comfortable with physical contact because a,b or c, some children don't feel so comfortable with their mothers, and some children live very far away from their mothers. I'm one of the last ones. I love to cuddle with my mom, but I know I'd love to have this service around when I spend months and months away from home and those I love! Furthermore, they emphasized at the start of the video that you have to feel genuine empathy for the person you're cuddling! It's all about caring for someone.

I think hiring a professional cuddler or at least paying a visit or two would be really good for those of us who have dealt with physical abuse. You know, just as something to sort of ease our bodies and minds into believing that there is good touch out there, and we should be able to accept physical, platonic affection.

This sounds really stupid, but when that one woman asked to put her head on the other womans shoulder I started bawling my eyes out. That's just something that my dad and I used to do all the time when we would watch disney movies together (we both love disney movies) and I really miss him now that he's gone, so that just really hit a nerve.

yeah, and believe me the final exam aint easy, and they dont tell you what it is beforehand and im breakin the rule just by telling u. so you have this hot chick come in, and i mean HOT 10/10. and she wears sexy clothing. basically you have to cuddle, spoon, do all of the cuddle positions on her, but here's the twist. you can't get a boner. that's why most male cuddlers seem kinda gay-ish or they passed cos they jerked off beforehand and i just made all this up.
