Thank you so much for your comment! Hope you liked the video that came out a couple weeks ago-- the 50s Peplum top I did as a throwback. Here's the link if you haven't gotten a chance to see it yet 🤓!! - ruclips.net/video/xPgTxaAoZAg/видео.html&lc=UgyStOzpktehxOSQO3J4AaABAg
That intro was great. Love your pajamas. LOL! Definitely ready for spring sewing...but first: spring clean on the sewing room. Because wow did that become a mess over the holiday period. Every possible surface is covered...and 90% of it doesn't even relate to sewing.
That intro was so much fun to shoot! Just wanted to do something silly to ring in the season change haha And good point about sprint cleaning the sewing room- I might have to do that as well actually...! Thanks for the reminder!
Hi Bianca!! Loved your intro, you looked like you were totally having fun doing it.. Thanks for all the wonderful tips about fabric, it’s always helpful.... 💜💜💜🧵🧵🧵
Your intro cracked me up!! 😂 great suggestions. I really love linen rayon blends, I think those could also be a spring/summer fabric. Definitely springtime in Florida fabric! 💕
Was feeling silly, wanted to shake it up a little bit haha Even watching the video back to myself I still laughed 😝 And yes for rayon blends!! Underrated but one of my absolute got-tos!
Haha loved your intro. I've started venturing into these. I love sewing with rayon crepe, I've been using them for summer work attire and flowy summer dresses, but for casual wear, I've been using cotton voiles. I know they are a bit sheer, but living in FL, I feel like ppl get it lol. Light-weight linen blends are also great for FL pants and beachwear. Out of the three you mentioned, which would you say is the "thinnest" and best for humid weather?
Glad you liked the video! Out of the three, I would say probably the Batiste might work best for humid weather. You can get some really pretty Batiste fabric in gorgeous soft cottons. Plus it makes great peasant tops, which are always a plus this time of year!
I’m so glad to have you back!!! Can’t wait to see your sewing tutorials!!! Yay!!
