I am so excited about your store! The set up is nice. I so understand what you mean it takes so much time to find you with art and you had allot to do with it for me I love using pen I use a fountain pen I love sketching then adding color. I find when I do my art my pain from my illness goes away for a short time.

I find your Tomoe River paper journals are great for my written journal but when I watercolor I use a LOT of water! Have you considered making journals with watercolor paper? ( I like 100% cotton from Bee Paper Company. ) for my art journal I need watercolor paper because I soak mixed media paper. Plus the colors are richer on watercolor paper.

I was loving that table before you mentioned it! Congrats on the new website! I need to order my new sketch journal from you once I figure what size I want to use (will figure that part out in the next few days)
I have found I'm the exact opposite..when I'm sad or something is stressful in my life, I am not writing but I am arting more. It used to bother me to have the empty pages those days, but I embrace them now. I might go back and write a sentence on what was bothering me, then I cover the page in pictures that might not even happened on those days. Or I will swatch colors on those empty pages. I have learned its ok.
Hi Brie, I have been following your channel for quite sometime...you are one of my inspirations to use ball point..I do like your style of ball point and watercolors..my only request is it would be great if you could do some urban sketches..

I think if you are extremely happy with something you should stick with worst works. If you want to explore then explicate but don’t force it. It’s called being content and happy with what you have! I adore all the stickers and the moth is so pretty! Looking forward to seeing what’s next! My question is how do you use journaling to work through something. And write about it? I’m not a great journaled but feel like I need that and not sure how to use it for that process. Can you do an example with sample questions you would ask yourself when you start writing? Or do you just kind of brain dump or both?

Thank you so much for the kind words. I use a karas kustoms pen but to be honest it’s all about the ink. Ballograf is probably my favorite but I do have a cheaper option I list in my amazon store front under favorites.
