Al, this is without a doubt one of your best refreshers ever. I have watched many of Spencer and your videos and in my opinion this refresh or makeover stands at the top of either his or your makeovers. As you scanned across the lawn one doesn't see any stragglers standing above the rest of the lawn. I don't remember any of the other lawns being so even. The fences are incredible clear of grasses and bushes. Trimming and clearing of the trees is excellent in all areas. I commend you and your helper on makeover and will say you couldn't have done better.

Absolutely incredible. It’s so strange I’m a middle age woman in Arizona. I don’t have a lawn (it’s all rock here) and I never plan to. I don’t like gardening and can’t keep a plant alive for the life of me. But for some reason I just love your videos. I think it’s probably because y’all have such a kind heart to help folks in need. Al... man, that was a HUGE job, considering all of the cleanup work you did... grass, trimming, edging, pruning, etc. And your friend helping you was working his behind off. He and "Mr. Shovel" scraped that back patio like crazy... that's some serious work you guys did. And for free at that! I have to say, I know I didn't hear the conversation, but some of the people whose yards you do don't seem to adequately appreciate the job, and what you would be earning if you were to charge for it. If it were me, I would be falling all over myself to thank you and your bros for what you did. Like I said... I didn't hear the conversation with the resident at the end, but it didn't appear as if he stepped out of his world long enough to show true appreciation for what you did. He didn't even seem to go around back and see/thank you for THAT massive cleanup... but that's just what I think based on what I saw. Well, if no one else truly appreciates it, you can bet your bottom dollar the "Big Guy" in heaven, the "Landlord of the Universe" (otherwise known as God) is loving every minute of what you do for others... because that is what he's all about. I know everyone is different, but if it was me, I would be crying huge tears of joy and appreciation for all the outstanding FREE work. That would have made me feel like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. I wonder how many times that guy looked at his back yard and was overwhelmed by what he saw. Not necessarily cut/mow/trim but moving/dispose of trash/cuttings? Maybe have a POV of what residents are doing on dual screen? BBQ/sex/video games on twitch/tiktok IG FB/poker vlog lol. It’s great to see him help these ppl out, but he might as well take down their info and book a return visit in ‘24.

I love what this man does. I am 61 and I still get out and do my yard. When you live down south it's not easy to get out in this heat. Añd for most family's they probably don't have time to do it after working all day. I think this is great. I love watching his videos. Make sure you keep your self hydrated. ❤
I'm always amazed by the amount of yard and household debris you have to clean up so you can mow. Some people just throw stuff anywhere. An amazing transformation of this yard too.
Sometimes people don't know how to get rid of things even if they don't work. Believe me I've spent years trying to get rid of my mom's stuff that is in the back yard I'm telling you 10-15yrs and she finds every excuse not to and we haven't had a garage since we moved in because of her stuff in there lately I've gotten rid of a few things without her knowing but it's hard.
i suspect a lot of yard garbage is blown around on garbage days. i live in the country on an island with no fast food outlets and i still find garbage in the yard every spring, after the thaw:)
One common theme I seem to always see in these yards - must be the area I suppose - is the rotted / nearly rotted / or falling apart wood fences. One would think they could come with a better, long material that looks similar, but last a lot longer... Just an observation is all.
The one thing I noticed the most that I miss when doing yard work is the tree limbs. I'm going to have to work on suckers and low hanging limbs. Ya'll did a great job!

My compliments guys! I'm a senior citizen who did the same thing around my neighborhood for many years. The purpose was that I care about keeping my area looking nice & trying to help those older folks who because of poor health, etc simply couldn't do the hard work required to take care of things at home. Absolutely incredible. It’s so strange I’m a middle age woman in Arizona. I don’t have a lawn (it’s all rock here) and I never plan to. I don’t like gardening and can’t keep a plant alive for the life of me. But for some reason I just love your videos. I think it’s probably because y’all have such a kind heart to help folks in need. Al... man, that was a HUGE job, considering all of the cleanup work you did... grass, trimming, edging, pruning, etc. And your friend helping you was working his behind off. He and "Mr. Shovel" scraped that back patio like crazy... that's some serious work you guys did. And for free at that!
I have to say, I know I didn't hear the conversation, but some of the people whose yards you do don't seem to adequately appreciate the job, and what you would be earning if you were to charge for it. If it were me, I would be falling all over myself to thank you and your bros for what you did. Like I said... I didn't hear the conversation with the resident at the end, but it didn't appear as if he stepped out of his world long enough to show true appreciation for what you did. He didn't even seem to go around back and see/thank you for THAT massive cleanup... but that's just what I think based on what I saw.
Well, if no one else truly appreciates it, you can bet your bottom dollar the "Big Guy" in heaven, the "Landlord of the Universe" (otherwise known as God) is loving every minute of what you do for others... because that is what he's all about. I know everyone is different, but if it was me, I would be crying huge tears of joy and appreciation for all the outstanding FREE work. That would have made me feel like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. I wonder how many times that guy looked at his back yard and was overwhelmed by what he saw. @@andrewthomasson99 yeah strangely peaceful along w unclogging beaver dams, popping blackheads lol. What gets me is hardly ever do the residents help, maybe offer food/drink/beer? Not necessarily cut/mow/trim but moving/dispose of trash/cuttings? Maybe have a POV of what residents are doing on dual screen? BBQ/sex/video games on twitch/tiktok IG FB/poker vlog lol. It’s great to see him help these ppl out, but he might as well take down their info and book a return visit in ‘24.

I love what this man does. I am 61 and I still get out and do my yard. When you live down south it's not easy to get out in this heat. Añd for most family's they probably don't have time to do it after working all day. I think this is great. I love watching his videos. Make sure you keep your self hydrated. ❤
I'm always amazed by the amount of yard and household debris you have to clean up so you can mow. Some people just throw stuff anywhere. An amazing transformation of this yard too.
Sometimes people don't know how to get rid of things even if they don't work. Believe me I've spent years trying to get rid of my mom's stuff that is in the back yard I'm telling you 10-15yrs and she finds every excuse not to and we haven't had a garage since we moved in because of her stuff in there lately I've gotten rid of a few things without her knowing but it's hard.

i suspect a lot of yard garbage is blown around on garbage days. i live in the country on an island with no fast food outlets and i still find garbage in the yard every spring, after the thaw:)
am i the only one who thinks the yards often look best when overgrown? personal taste, i guess😊
One common theme I seem to always see in these yards - must be the area I suppose - is the rotted / nearly rotted / or falling apart wood fences.
One would think they could come with a better, long material that looks similar, but last a lot longer... Just an observation is all.
The one thing I noticed the most that I miss when doing yard work is the tree limbs. I'm going to have to work on suckers and low hanging limbs. Ya'll did a great job!
