If it was an official stage show it wouldn't be like that. But I can see the motive behind it. He wanted to get closer to his fans. Remember, it was a celebration. And this is what I know about Mavado, he loves his fans. He just wanted to have a closed interaction with everyone, which is understandable. How many times do artistes of Mavado's class get to do that?? Most of the time they are separated. It was obvious that he was the one that allowed it. So I see no problem with it. And I'm sure everyone that was there appreciated the fact that he was among them instead of being above them, especially those who could touch him. Most of the time artistes like Mavado would be shielded so no one could get too closed. So I'm certain that the fans present there were delighted that he was interacting with them without barriers, because if I as a fan am, what about those who were actually there in person?? It was a heartwarming idea. Most of the time we should try to see the intention or thought or motive behind an action instead of the action of itself. But who doesn't like it, I can't bash them. But all what matters is as long as I as a fan like it and my artiste as well.

If I could just see him to shake his hand, and tell him congrats, because I know how far he is coming from. Even when he used to be targeted by the cops. Remembering where he's coming from and how far he is reached now, my heart is almost burst with joy for him. While I was going to high school, in fact I graduated in 2011. And while I was attending school, all of my friends were supporting Kartel, but guess who I was supporting? Mavado! I remember the very first time when he released "real mckoy", which is one of his favourite songs that he did. I began to support him even before he was recognized. And I've lived to see the day the same artiste many were putting down, has become the greatest dancehall artiste. Which other dancehall artiste you know had achieved anything close to what Mr David Brooks has achieved and still is?? This man has already surpassed the summit, and now building his own mountain on top of that peak. This man is heading to the elite realm. As long as Vado is alive, there will be music, because he himself is music. His voice alone confirms he's got such gift. There is not one riddim he can't conquer. And you know why he's been unstoppable?? Because he's humble and he fears the Lord.
