I'm looking for something like that down here. A project for me to learn more with but something useful for my little operation. Nice score guys happy Sunday
Nice addition fellows I have a 1992 Ford 1720 looks the same still runs great maintenance is the key, looked like a couple teeth missing from the larger bucket not sure if there is watch out and not damage the shanks. Great video 👍👍🇺🇸
My first tractor was an 1520. Really great tractor the the hydrostat is the best. I broke the front drive shaft but I was pulling trees out backwards and only the front wheels were on the ground. Used it with only 2 wheel drive until I could fix it. Mine had a cab and was great for winter. I'll send you some pics of a set of forks I made for it. Will be fine until you switch o SS. When building your mount make sure to keep it as light as possible because your SS buckets are already pretty heavy. My brother in law bought it off me then upgraded to a bigger Kubota which he just sold last year and just had to find another 1520. He found one but no cab. Great tractor.
Wow lotz mo content to video! Love the thought that a spare that werkz on both trailers. Equipment like that can bring a kidz smile out in no time! Fun video thankzz y'all!
Did I hear the comment correctly that Cheese-Cake bought the bungee cord and the tractor, FEL, and backhoe along with all the "things" were thrown in as part of the deal? Great purchase Chris. Hope it serves all of your needs.
@DudeRanchDIY looking farther into it you do have to have a valid michigan ID. Maybe someday Connecticut will go to a permanent trailer plate. Looks like you guys had fun with the new backhoe!
Yeah I got 3 trailers With Main plates I got a car trailer with Them My 20 ton trailer is A small trailer All of them got main plates And that Tractor Got a good deal Stay safe stay healthy
wow guys, as the sexten of the lower white hills cemetery. i have been looking for one of those for years. we now use a 1958 ih 300 that is perfectly good, except it will not fit between the head stones. will it dig to 6.5 ft? please tell me as i have to do something. season's greetings. and best wishes
@@DudeRanchDIY sometimes I forget how small the states are there. Friend live in E Mass (Wareham) and takes her 6 -6 1/2 hrs to get here, w most of it in NY
It’s a long story, basically the Spanish guys we worked with years ago had a hard time pronouncing his name “Chris” so they called him cheese. It’s evolved, and now when he gets a nasty job or project we call it a cheesecake special
I’ve been doing this forever, in Massachusetts it is illegal though. I’ve never been bothered with both of my trailers being non commercial personal use but I’m pretty sure almost every state I. The country aside from mass this is legal
That odd bracket in the bag is to mount the orange smv triangle on the rear of tractor
Ahhh thanks!

Yeah! We’ve been looking for a project like this for a while! Nothing too far over our heads and too expensive to get into. Good learning experience!
Hello Jake and Chris, we had the same tractor without the backhoe years ago, 🪵👍🏼🇺🇸
Nice! Seems like a good unit!
Love your new addition
They are very handy. You will find many uses and probably side jobs. Keep it up guys.
That's the plan!
Nice addition to the arsenal. Nice little tractor 🚜
You guys are too funny for a Sunday. Look forward to the tractor updates and fixes.
Thanks 👍
Great looking tractor!!! Looking forward to Y'all using it in the woodyard!!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Blueberry cheesecake! Those old fords are tough. I had a little 1310 before I bought my kubota. Wish I still had it for a mowing tractor.
Great tip about the trailers thanks
Good pick up and just about everything on it is fixable and will continue to live for ever. No need for dealer support.
Yep! Seems pretty simple!
Good stuff fellas! As a Mainer (Scarborough) it’s good to see you running “Maine Plates”. Cheers!
I’m glad I finally got them!
There’s something special about pre fancy stuff
Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication
Nice tractor Chris, good luck with it.
Thanks 👍
Chris was grinning for sure, have fun on the cyclinders. You all make a good team. Cheers
Thanks, looking forward to working on it
I have the same tractor only with ag tires. I’ve got almost 4000hrs on mine still runs good and still pulls a 5’ brush hog.
Powerful little machine!

Yep, it’s going to need a little work but she’s solid!

I have a West Virginia fire pit and you have a West Virginia bucket. Too funny!
Haha very funny, I swear I didn’t hear you say that in your video
Have a 1720 for the last 20yrs, best tool I ever bought and the chainsaws of course, ps from ct
Very nice! Where in CT?
It’s going to be very handy and back saver
We think so!
Nice pickup Jake. She's got some character to her I love it. Welcome to the club boys.
Michigan switched to lifetime trailer plates which is nice. Always nice to add some equipment.
Nice! I’m wishing I did this Maine thing sooner haha
👀 n good Chris! Enjoy!
Good snag, Chris! A little TLC and that tractor will serve you well! Those little backhoes are super handy. Congrats!
We’re excited to have a little digging power around the yard now!
I didnt even know that and i live in Maine haha. I register my trailers here 1 year at a time, i think ill up that # next year!
Wow lotz mo content to video! Love the thought that a spare that werkz on both trailers. Equipment like that can bring a kidz smile out in no time! Fun video thankzz y'all!
It’s handy having two trailers with identical axles!
Chris you have a good tractor
Congratulations Chris on your new tractor
Thanks 👍
Congratulations Chris. Old Ford tractors are worth buying
Sweet tractor Chris! I have a similar one👍👍
Looking forward to using it more!
Great buy! I was laughing at first. The small bucket is slightly faster than a shovel…. With the bigger bucket, awesome!
Yeah Chris was messing around with it and I immediately realized exactly that and suggested we swap them out haha
Those old tractors may need some tlc but they do not have all of the electronic crap to mess up .
Did I hear the comment correctly that Cheese-Cake bought the bungee cord and the tractor, FEL, and backhoe along with all the "things" were thrown in as part of the deal? Great purchase Chris. Hope it serves all of your needs.
Yep! The bungee cord was arguably the most valuable item in the whole lot!!
Congrats on the Ford TLB! You're going to find 1 million uses for that thing.
It’ll be handy to have something that can dig, we’re curious to see how much it’ll lift.
Come to Michigan for your trailer plates! Non expiring, $99-$299 based on weight
You don’t have to have residence?
@DudeRanchDIY looking farther into it you do have to have a valid michigan ID. Maybe someday Connecticut will go to a permanent trailer plate.

Jake the boss showed up to to see what you two bangee Indians were up to down in the wood yard 😮😊❤
Full extension on the backhoe was hilarious
😂
Im digging the lights on the rops bar. Need something like that on mine. Friend of mine has same machine and its a little work horse.
Yeah none of those work but I’m sure will get replaced at some point down the road!
Congratulations Chris! How many cars did Jake take out with the selfie stick on the way back? 😂
Only a few 😂
The Ford 1520 Tractor will Require New Parts, all i can say is have a good day to you Chris and Sarah,
Steiner has parts
That's going to be a loyal machine...just look at the name!
Oh yeah just needs a little tlc
This is a great score yall. Looking great and im curious to see how this is used!!!
Thanks WD looking forward to using it
Can't wait to see which comes first; the seat for the backhoe or a beer holder. 🤣🤣🤣
Wanna place bets??
I wish I lived closer to Maine, I could always save a lot of money
You can live anywhere and still register in Maine, I live in Connecticut! Check out the website in the description Larry!
Those oil leaks will keep down the dust!
Exactly! 😂
Good luck

Not sure how deep it digs yet
Find a hydraulic shop they can repair those piston seals
I think we’re going to do it ourselves

So he gave him 1500 plus the truck for the tractor? i thingk he got ripped off
Chris gave him 1500 and got the tractor. I’m not really sure the specifics of the truck and how it played into the deal, that was his brothers thing.
@@DudeRanchDIY 1500 is worth it
Why???,
Why not
Texas also is a rip off for trailers to
Dam shame to 😢
Register in Maine!

Yeah from what I talked about with the company I used and asking around it’s totally legal.
Seems like everything is illegal in Mass.
