Are washers and dryers more common in more expensive rentals? How far would the closest laundry mat be? Are there taxis available?
Dryers are rare due to cost of electricity. Laundromats have them 😆

Great Mike; looks just right. Perfect for 2 Expats to share with a live in maid/house manager. Bedrooms only need a bed & clothes storage so the size works, you don't live in the room. Kitchen fully usable; you can have dirty kitchen counter space right outside to compensate. Was very quiet locale, furnishings & A/C save money, good roads with everything close. Only things to know areif any Sari Saris, bars or restaurants are within walking distance. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing! It's not 100% perfect, BUT, I must admit it's one of the best value for money homes I have seen in the area. The quality of the interior reminds me of what was normal 30 years ago. And it gives a feling of a good home.

Looks like a nice place. You do a good job Mike showing these places with a lot of good information. One additional piece of information is how noisy is it? You could start your own rating system for noise 1 o 5 roosters. I know its difficult to find a quite place in the Philippines and noise would be a little subjective.

One of the best videos yet. However the living room is small. Does the price include electric?

Being a larger American, I feel as if I would be squeezing around a lot of things in that apartment. And to my eyes, the seats with the fabric coverings look like I would need help getting out of them as they seem low to the ground. It says the stove is gas, but I do not see the gas burners on top? What speed internet can you get there? As well as English language cable TV stations?
cnn, fox, espn hbo, many you can get different speeds of internet 100mps and greater for $30 USD and up
what is the investment to income ratio? yesterdays property was 20,000pesos p/m so at 5% income ration that would be the property being more than $80,000. either the rent is high or the property itself is high? thanks again, interesting watch
besides the water damage from roof leak in 3rd bdrm on the wall, the place looks like it is made for insta family lol at that price u can date a single 2 kid mom :)

Price is good but, 1. Bedrooms are too small. 2. Main bedroom needs a full thickness mattress. 3. Kitchen needs more counter space if living in it for a year. 3. Remove the bed from the room downstairs and make it the den/living area or move the dining table to the downstairs bedroom to allow the living area to expand with a full size couch.

For the life of me i can't understand the high rental prices compared to Thailand. That place would be $200 with better everything in Thailand.

I stayed in the heart of Bangkok for 100 dollars a month. It was just a room though. But that was so generous of Thai, given that millions come to visit Thailand. Yes, the rates in other big cities in Asia are cheaper.
