The soundtrack of this game is just absolutely top tier. Its like something from a dark cinematic future where everything just pulses and flashes. I have only played the game once but that soundtrack has just stuck with me so hard
I hadn't played a Deus Ex game until I played Mankind Divided only a year ago. It ended up being one of the most enjoyable games I've played in a long time
Loved both games. Might give the slight edge to HR but MD was more visually impressive and many more options on how to go about killing your foes and more augmentations.
Human revolution is actually my favorite game of all time, the soundtrack was amazing, the voice acting was superb, the story, just a big ball of greatness and a super underrated game. I mention this game to a few people and have never heard of this game and when they play it they thank me for telling them.
Yeah, Eidos Montreal has been too busy making avengers games. They released a statement saying they would "not make a third Deus ex and that they were focusing on another project". After they released that statement "The "Avengers " was the game thay were working on. Now that guardians of the Galaxy is finished let's cross our fingers and help they go back
They shelved it sadly. That being said, it’s a good thing they did. They’re all a bunch of hacks working there now making comic book games for the smooth Brain mainstream types
@@ShivaM-dc4xe That. Plus, if possible, a difficulty level which make the game as hard as the difficulty level in Human Revolution (because MD is way too easy).
I just literally beat Human Revolution for the 2nd time since beating it 9 years ago, 2 weeks ago on my Series X. Such a wonderful game i love it even more now, I wish there was more. ManKind Divided just didnt do it for me like Human Revolution did. Human Revolution runs great and looks great on Series X. Bought the physical copy Directors Cut for $3.00.
This game is in my all time top five. I got it when it first came out and although the price surprisingly dropped rapidly I didn't regret the purchase at any point. The game is so diverse I love how there's so many ways to approach each problem, you can sneak about or go in guns blazing. Or you can bribe or talk your way through situations perhaps. The augmentations are so much fun as are the weapons and upgrades for the weapons, the story is polished and the overall atmosphere created is so amazing it keeps you hooked.
Not sure about console versions but DC sucks on PC though. Constant stuttering and framerate issues which to me, makes the game nearly unplayable. Original version has been delisted for a while now but luckily those codes can still be bought for very cheap price, and thats what I did. The difference how well the original version runs compared to the DC is massive. All of this was due to original got properly patched whereas DC was a sloppy Wii U port that didn't get fixed.
I never paid attention to this franchise and knew nothing about it.. But now upon discovering it seems right up my alley.. I’m a fan of sci fi and find all the Alex Jones, Orwell and Huxley dystopian themes pretty fascinating..
Human revolution was SOOO much better than Mankind Divided.. It had much better bosses and more varied locations and just a better cyberpunk feel, IMO. But the best Deus Ex game is the original one. That was was fantastic and mesmerizing. Not because it had perfect game play. It was the story and the settings and the choices. The experience back then in 2000 playing a game like that was fresh and new. Globe trotting, large conspiracies, multiple choice in tackling an objective, how to gain entrances etc. I would love a remake in Unreal 5 and keep all the story and dialogue and settings. But refine the game play, still RPG based, but refined so it's smoother and of course fantastic graphics. Drool!!!!
With all the flaws the original had, nothing will top it. HR was second best entry and while although MD improved all aspects of HR, it lacked story wise
Maybe my favourite game of that generation. The world and atmosphere, the freedom of options it offered, the gameplay itself, the soundtrack ... a spectacular achievement. Mankind Divided I was also a big fan of but HR was special.
The art direction and the soundtrack are the best i've ever heard, i mean, Detroit has a Gold illumination and the music is futuristic, but not by much. I got it in my own GOTY's tier on Steam
Playing this with the ReShade mod is highly recommended. Makes the colour and post process look like Half Life 2 / Battlefield 3. Looks like the cutscenes in the game.
We need that sequel square enix... Square could really captialize on the blunder that is cyberpunk 2077. People are craving a immersive and polished dystopian experience, one that CDPR did not fully deliver.
When people ask, I usually say my favorite game is whatever I'm currently playing. But I then remember that DE:HR exists and I immediately change my mind. So damn fun.
I've played through this game at least 25 times and enjoyed it everytime. Including the secondary quests, this game is enjoyable and a rarity. Pick it up if you want varied gameplay where your decisions matter and playstyles allow you to be creative and free when playing.
Human Revolution is easily the best game in the serie just after Deus Ex 1. And yes, it has flaws but thanksfully many of them can be fixed with mods (Like for example making the xp rewards, the weapons and the augmentations more balanced or improving the graphisms).
I remembered the awsome trailer before the game launch, it was so epic! Buy someow i never got to play the game🤷🏻♂️ Maybe a remaster/remake in the future🤞🏽
When I get my series x I will be going back to both games, hopefully we will get a new one in the next couple of years, can you imagine how great that game would be on current gen and PC omg.
True... Unfortunately the second one lacked optimization, main story and dialogues (boring and disconnected). HR was a gem... Although technically terrible.
If their done with Deus ex in terms of the gaming franchise at least put out a film that's well acted and that looks well relatable to the game in terms of the human revolution story
Amazing game. If you're looking to play this on PC, just do yourself a favor and get a key for the original version. DC sucks due to constant framerate and stuttering issues.
@@TheREALHugo4 The fact that you got more xp from stealth takedowns than any other option really forced you into one play route if you wanted to maximize your praxis points really made it kinda meh to do open combat. This game has everything you could want.... A intriguing story, conspiracy and paranoia, rocket launchers, shotguns, machine pistals, combat rifles, genetically modified super soilders, fema, the illuminati, bob page ect.

Yeah, I really can’t believe this game is not compatible with PS4/5. I was hoping for a PS5 collection remaster similar to Mass Effect. Square ENix, where are you on this?
I have been playing this for about three hours and so far all I've done is got to the bookstore guy. Then, he tells me to shut down one of my "Augs" and It took me another hour to figure that out. Am I supposed to know this from another game? is there a part one that i missed? The "Augs are color coded but there's no indication as to what any of them mean.
