    For those confused like me, if yours is twisting so much it looks like DNA, you need to go right, left, right, left all the aay down.
    For those being agressive for no reason, rewatch the video. He starts out on the right to make the end, and starts on the left, he then says to repeat and when it clips to the next portion, he is once again making a left loop. It makes sense for there to be confusion. It's fine to give tips and help, but there's no need to be rude and aggressive.

    I did mine with a shoestring, and it looks OK. Same problem as with others, a little "twist". Just pull down a well as out. Also, if you do it with a shoestring, you have to knot off the ends when you're done tying them because you can't burn the strings.

    That makes zipper pulls out of scrap pieses as well too, leave an inch loop. When burning the ends try using the metal on the lighter to flatten.

  • @Sam-sy4bp

    I accidentally made this exact same thing but with out the key ring. If you can't get the first couple weaves done with out something to hold the loops use something the has an opening (I used a carabineer) and start like you would to make a bracelet. Once you have a few weaves done take the item out of the end and push the weaves down to get rid to the extra that is now there

    Normally speaking, the last thing you want from a tutorial is it being all over in a flash, or in 90 seconds.
    Going too fast, for those being tutored to follow, is likely the most common fault you come across in tutorial videos.
    However, that's not the case here, it's easy to follow so everyone's happy. Not only people who wish to learn the knot/weave, but those who act as though the air in the room is running out + they don't have long to live so they want everything to happen in a hurry + anything that will help make that possible.
    I expect someone could shave a few seconds off here, if they wanted to, no doubt 90 seconds seems like dragging your heels, to some folks. But why it only applies to some things, + not others, makes me wonder........ You don't see these people running around the supermarket, do you?
    Anyway, done right, beats done fast, for me.......... You managed both, so good on ya!

    Hi. Is there different size paracords? And what size did you use?

    • @muttley1956
      @muttley1956 5 лет назад +1

      New England Trucker
      Paracord is available in a range of sizes from 0.75mm to 6mm and a range of colours. The most commonly used are 550 (4mm) and 425 (3mm). I’d guess this project uses 550. Generally, the larger sizes are used to give structure and the smaller sizes decoration. The inner core can be removed leaving the coloured sheathing to be used for decoration. Without the inner core the cord is flattened making it easier to weave and reduces the overall bulk of the project.
      Here’s an example of a project using different sizes and de-cored paracord ruclips.net/video/y0AzV-cuLf8/видео.html.
