While her taste in art isn’t really my cup of tea, her mother’s architecture definitely is. Gorgeous house
Same
It's my cup of kombucha tho
Opposite for me! Love the playful artifacts but awful house hahah… that kitchen is so bad
Yeah, her furniture, appliances and art really suck bad. I guess that’s what you get when you hire your friends.
@@maxmwegerano7400 do you hate kombucha as much as I do? 💀
Minimalism is not simply owning less, its living simply so you can appreciate the finer things in life. If for her it's appreciation of art then that works too.
Thank yu just clarify it for the ones in the back lol
Actually minimalism does mean to break down to the thing you actually need to live!! So collecting art doesnt mean minimalism. You cant call yourself a minimalist or say you live minimalistic while you your house is fill up to top with stuff you even dont need to live. And thats the art of minimalism: To stop the consuming and wasting habits!
It’s pretentious
@@jordanalmasi youre not joking.
@@tisch9233 No. It's a style. A cold and without soul.
I love her. She's terrifying.
Lol
i love this comment
😂😂
A murderous tiny picture over your bed always essential
She is kinda scary ! Lol
How is no one talking about the fact that her bathroom opens up to mini lake.. how serene is that
Because she's a bit rich
Yes Vogue glossed over that. But it was actually one of the best parts of the video.
@@anom3897 Well, it is about "Objects of Affection." 😊
All that I can think off is *mosquitoes*
Good old poo and a scene.
This is how i would love to live if i had money. She’s not being a show-off, she’s doing her thing, enjoying buying things and art that are meaningful to her because she can, creating her own tiny paradise:) made me happy. I hope to be able to have a nice place of my own full of meaningful things too one day.
She’s literally showing off her house on the internet…
🤔You can be broke asf and live like this.
I grew up in a trailer park and this entire vibe is VERY familiar….it’s literally peak white tra$h aesthetic
True
She is so simple but so english too
How can someone be so friendly and unfriendly at the same time?
I think that's just how you summarize a British person 🤣
We're british. That's what we're like.
@@kellyj817 you took the words right out of my mouth 😂 she’s peak British middle class
English
She is a LIONESS!!
I'm actually quite interested in her fascination for blobby shapes. That's not something I ever thought about before, but seeing her blob art pieces, I found myself wanting to see more.
There is a whole new art world opening to you then, going back to the 1960-1970s. Have fun.
Mayb she was a blob at one point in life
She is terrifying, absolutely terrifying. I love it.
why? why do you think so?
@@elitebanditfighter3394 it was the thing with sleeping under a decapitated head that was slightly scary but like same ya know? Haha
Do you really love it or do think it's cool to say that? It doesn't really make sense.
@@dcgallin nah I genuinely love it, like it's funny to me in a way but it's also something I'd probably do. Only reason I wouldn't do it was cause it'll mess with the theme I have in my room, well that and the fact mh dad would give me a lecture if he saw it. Don't know why it dosen't make sense to you but then again no one thinks the same so it's fine, but please don't go assuming I'm saying things to seem cool to absolute strangers cause I'm not like that.
@@alxcollin3172 peace :)
Her decorating aesthetic may not appeal to my personal tastes, but her personality in this presentation comes across as witty, intelligent, unique and endearing. A smart woman doing her thing. Plus she’s an animal lover. Kudos to her.
Wow, she comes across to me as annoying and insufferable. And not witty at all
She is so witty 😍
Pamela walking around the garden with her "dog" label on her nose is just the epitome of cuteness
I love her weird energy..... it's so honest 🤣 and articulate it's heartwarming for me
Minimalism is being conscious of the objects you have and curating them in a way that is beautiful to you... it doesn't mean no furniture or white walls. While she has a "lot" of things, everything seems to mean something to her
Your definition is absolutely wrong!!
Isn’t « minimalism » being conscious of the space you (and your objects) « inhabit » ? Wouldn’t some say it’s a « theatrical » form of display for an « unidentified objects » ?
Anyway, the most important in this video are the horses. Who cares what architecture style her house is ? It’s pretty clear her tastes are postmodernist, as in influenced by many antagonistes contemporary art movements (1960-1990).
Everything a hoarder owns means something to them too 😂
@@nicolemgomes Ikr. Everything everyone owns means something to them, that's why they own those things. According to this dumb definition, everyone is a minimalist then, lol.
@@nicolemgomes my thoughts exactly!
“I really like her, she’s a nice toilet.” has instantly become one of my most favorite things I’ve ever heard someone say
This came up just as I was reading your comment lol
Wow. She's giving me major Bowie vibes. Her look, demeanor, sense of humor. Love it!
Ah yeah, that's the word im feeling throughout watching this video, very spot on
Yes, I caught it straight away - the gentle smirk is totally Bowie!
This interview made me so unexpectedly happy. I love the balance of order and simplicity with the strange and stand out items.
She had me at "now that we've met the most important person in the house" (her lovely dog)! Absolutely adorable statement and it shows Edie has her priorities in the proper order.
she didn't say that. she said "the most important object"
This is by far the most interesting house and person featured. ‘No clutter’ as long as these many little items means something to her. I would have super great respect for her if she would house rescued horses instead of buying . So many wonderful things we could do for those unwanted homeless or abused animals ( example racehorses 🏇, stray dogs , cats , etc ) with these space and financial resources.
The best was the latter part with the horses, other than that the show was the worst one I've seen
It’s so uncomfortable in there. “Murderous energy” And she loves it 😂 love that she is so herself
her accent is so comforting
Hi, ¿What do you mean?
The way she talks reminds me a lot of Cara Delevingne. Love the idea of this series! Can’t wait to see more!
Having family money 😆
I love all the floor to ceiling glass doors overlooking the water. Especially the bath tub 😍 this is a really cool idea for a series
A perfect example of, ‘express yourself’😉 I love her eccentricity! 😍
She's even more weird and wonderful than i thought, and i'm even more obsessed with her than i thought !
Yeah... Why not?.... Absolutely...
I was so shocked to hear her say Northamptonshire lol, no one ever does! I live here too!
More than Minimalist, I just found her to be organized. She has a lot of stuff, maybe she likes the aesthetics of minimalism. Having said that, she has a distinct taste and style.
She is so beautiful and unique. A true eccentric. Lover her, and the house.
her house is built in the minimalistic style, her interior decorating is not minimalistic - a lot of people in the comments seem to be confused about that.
minimalism isnt an aesthetic. its owning things intentionally and cutting down on how much you consume. its a lifestyle
@@gristen Another lost quidam.
Go open an art history book.
Minimalism was/is first an art trend ; you talk about a New Age lifestyle.
@@beignet1682 Thank you for that comment. So many people here are educated via twitter post.
"oh she's terrifying" that is so rude, this woman is the funniest, most charming minimalist I have ever seen, I want to give her the clay donkey I made in primary school that's extremely blobby and not very donkey-like
that's so cute

One of the new supermodels. She is an icon of her own right.
"I can't just put them all in willy nilly, I'd never know where anything was" - and then the cheeky smirk... That's me done. I am in love.
Her confidence in herself is inspiring.
She grew up with money money
She is so unique
Just people without brain can hate her!
She is a model but still be a normal girl ❤️
“Minimalist” and “filled with objects” shouldn’t even be in the same sentence. But then again it just reveals how many in mainstream and popular thought are poorly translated and represented. Nah. This house is just spacious with many things inside. Love Edie though
I feel like she's saying it's minimalist bc there are only neutral tones. It has the calmness of minimalism, but it def isn't minimalistic
minimalism isnt about the quantity / having the fewest things, it's about JUST having the essentials & ONLY the things that make you happy. a person could have a 200-item lamp collection that they love and it would still be minimalist :)
Well, she said that she has a one in-and one out policy so she is a minimalist in her own way I think
@@karlkh Funny kind of definition then. The Oxford English Dictionary defines a minimalist as a person who is ready to accept a *minimum* provisionally; the opposite being - a maximalist.
To *minimize,* is to reduce to the *smallest possible amount* or degree.
So, while I really like this house, and her personality, it doesn't actually fit the description of "minimalist."
I love her style. The organic colors mixed with acid colors 💫 beautiful.
I’m not usually one for minimalism but I love how much she still expresses herself through her space
This really gave me a new view on minimalism, seeing it in a form that shows intense appreciation for objects and physicality- cause it's so common to see minimalism as something like a simplification machine.
This was if surrealism wanted to have a family with dadaism but ended up having two babies each with cubism and naturalism
😂😂😂
Such a delight to watch! The first time I've seen her, she's freakishly inspiring!!
A common misconception of “Minimalism” design is that it’s less furniture. But minimalist design is not focusing on the quantity of the furniture, it’s focusing on the quality your details in the furniture. You can have have a normal amount of furniture and still achieve a minimal design, but that furniture has to have smooth, thin, and with minimal details that are not too attention grasping.
Awesome...I've never seen a house tour like this. I thoroughly enjoyed watching her and the cute 🐕.
she's incredible I love her objects and stories (and labelling!)
She likes things that's weird and interesting and NOT tasteful, which is important to her. That makes so much more sense now. She is not looking to fill up her house with eyeball pleasing things, but interesting ones. I don't think we should judge her art taste or her aesthetics here since she made it clear she is not trying to do that. Being a model but goes against what fashion is basically about, herself is so interesting too!!!
"Minimalist"
"I own 6 horses and now I'm off to buy a seventh one."
I must be mega minimalist then by only having a single one 😂
I’m obsessed! As a tired architecture student, this really made me excited about design again. It even spurred me to clean my room!
It’s literally “white trash/tweaker aesthetic” but 10,000x the price…bc privileged kids are $tupid and think their money makes them “special”😂
Its one of the most unique tours I’ve seen. I like how different and peculiar everything was. Very tasteful
Holy crap and now I'm obsessed with this woman. She's... the coolest.
I know right, she makes me forget that I’m straight..🥲
Adam Ant duck braid, a few gold chains, horses, dogs, platform boots, the countryside & a Dymo label maker - pretty much all a girl needs! (I share 4 out of the 7.) She's a riot! Thanks for sharing. ;)
I find myself singing, 'trying to be too cool' as I watch this and I can't stop watching it, lol.
Love the quirky artsy touches!!
Edie is a very special lady. I love her since I saw her modeling for Anya Hindmarch many years ago. And she looks absolutely cool while she’s riding her horse!

She seems really cool. I like that she doesn't seem to care to much without appearing completely rude. I also like her Obi Wan Kenobi haircut, a lot. And her attached earlobes.
This was so much fun to watch! she truly is endearing
LOVE the House!! very 'organic' style
She's very british, Is one of my favourite houses here, nice to see that she did her house to matchs with her style, is beautiful, lovely place, nice lake, lovely dog, stunning horses, beautiful girl.

i absolutely love her taste in art
Her house looks "scientific" like a Royal Airforce engineering lab or some kind of outpost in Antarctica...especially the kitchen.
she’s got quite a ton of stuffs to be categorized as “minimalist.” but to each their own I guess?
Compared to _other_ British interior styles, she's more simple in display. Whereas most Brit's are heavy on the layering & eclectic displays. Most want you to walk in & feel cozy & warm. Especially, on those cold rainy winter's nights. She's gone for more of a cool beachy feel, that one would most likely see in a California beach house. It is really odd for an English cottage in the country.
@@Digitalhunny its still not minimalist.
She really doesnt Minimalist doesnt mean a chair and a lamp in a room just not alot of useless things she deosnt seem to have that
Exactly what I thought when I watched the video
Yeah, I don’t think keeping 6, no 7 horses qualifies as minimalism. 😂
Proof that every kind of art has someone who is into it 🤭
I have never related to a random person so much in my life.
You are exactly my type of peculiar. I appreciate it.
You can never have too many horses just reminded me that some people buy Birkins and others buy horses.
I love her toilet tea pot!! And the puppers 🥰
You almost lost me with the label maker until I realized your real obsession is sorting: seeing what you have and use, grouping and labeling things to be easy to find. 😁
Love how she showed her dymo label maker!
Probably my favourite house tour ever.

how on earth is this minimalist😭
Ik how is it so plain yet she has loads of random objects😭
Its barely anything in there its like a shell of a house with windows and some random objects
According to the Oxford English Dictionary, to be a minimalist is to have a *minimum* of stuff.
She's definitely not a maximalist, though. She likes order and clean lines, so perhaps *she thinks* that means she's a minimalist? I did enjoy her tour. She seems quite quirky.
I think she has been sarcastic about that
Most beautiful thing in all this house is LABELS. I love it. So peaceful. (and the dog too).
she is actually different and actually lving her best life! inspiring truly
This isn’t really minimalist but everything about this house is amazing (to me).
For me, it's not weird. It's unique 😍😍😍
So clean, simple and classy, yet creative with calming Earth toned furniture and objects.
She’s so quirky adorable - a breath of fresh air. ❤
Thank you for making me ever so grateful for my house and company.
I love how she simply yet very bubbly lives her life with those not-so-ordinary arts hahaha
She just seems like such a cool person, I love her personality ❤
Love her, very unique style.
“I’m terrible.” Yea I gathered that within 5 seconds.

Campbell's father is Roddy Campbell, a hedge fund manager; her mother is the architect Sophie Hicks.
If you told me that she was David Bowie's daughter (or son), I would believe you.
She could be ! Though her dad was an hedge fund manager, and her mum an architect.
That pink wall is amazing 😍😍 i would love to do that in my house
Isn’t it very Luis Barragan ? Loved that touch, too
when you labeled the dog i didnt think it could get any better.... and then the toilet tea pot 🤣
