How to fix bluetooth obd II issue on Binize head unit

- This is to fix an issue with your binize anroid head unit bluetooth OBDII not connecting or you are getting error connection.
My Car is a Rav4 2005
Benize 10.1 inch 9.1 android headunit
I bought a brand new tablet because I couldn’t pair it to my media, and today I found out this video 🤦♂️, thank you sir❤

Thanks Elmer. I have been trying for 2 weeks to get my Binize radio to work with OBDII. I have the T3L unit with Android 9.0 and has a 10 Inch screen. It took me a few tries but this did get me working with Torque. Your the BOSS.

I used the Bluetooth Pair and it worked for me. But then I got in the car the next day and it would not work again. I can use my Android PH with no problems. I just don't understand. I wonder if it is the OBD unit (I got VeePeak Vp11 pm Amazon for 12.99). Now I have ordered a couple of 5.00 ones from Aliexpress. To see if it makes any difference. I will let you know.
@@jackscrafts9202 if you haven't tried yet try to go to your headunit and choose forget device for the obd then have the unit find it again sometimes bluetooth hangs /lag and may need to be reinstall again.
@@elmersworld7201 Thanks Elmer, I will try after the snow. I'm in Indiana. It is frustrating. I may just settle on using my phone to Mirror. It is interactive so I can use the 10 inch screen to do stuff.

Thank you this working great I finally was able to connect the stupid OBD II reader, I didn't have to download that extra app I just changed the numbers to 1234 and it worked. Thank you

its call car launcher downloaded it from app store I think I paid less than $10 but you can get one for free but you cant customized it.
Can you help me connect Bluetooth obd2 adapter with Nakamichi android car stereo. The Bluetooth settings in the unit does not have the option to change the password which is 0000.All my obd adapters use 1234.Please help.
Also the joying unit in my other car connects with adapters that only have obd2 as their internal name..

thanks for the video! But my headunit looks like your headunit, but has a newer Android (10), and it can't pair with any OBD2 ...
I also tried this APK, but it also can not pair.
I had to find the bluetooth settuings, as they are not visible, by using the search bar in the settings.
Change the code from 0000 to 1234. Using this app, but continues telling me, wrong code / can not connect.
The Android developers really screwed up here ...
Do you have some ideas?

check the Bluetooth dongle and make sure you take note of the code and match it with the headunit also if your head unit is the same as mine then you have to make sure the bluetooth is 3.0 or older can't use 4.0 and up it will not connect so check the old and make sure its bluetooth compatible with the headunit hope this helps thanks

this works on my head unit but i need a way to make this permanent, as I have to do this every time the stereo boots up. Torque Pro will not turn on bluetooth, I have to use BlutoothPair to actually turn on the bluetooth for Torque to use
I dont know why it wont stay I only have to do this one on my head unit and it connects every time I turn my torque app on check the head unit setting or the torque setting.
@@elmersworld7201 for some reason my head unit has the bluetooth icon but will only connect to bluetooth media. I have to open Bluetooth Pair and that always says bluetooth is off, once i turn it on in this app then torque will connect (bluetooth is definitely on as my phone is already connected before all this)

Same problem as you. Cannot key 1234. How?
You have to download the bluetooth app mention on the video to be able to change the password or pin to match your obd donggle
On mine I didn't have to download that extra app I was able to change it from the original bluetooth settings screen.
Even 1234 it Says error pin code. It doesnt work
I have tge same issue with my 10.1 binize. I did everything in the video but still cant pair
it has been working for me until today please follow the video instruction carefully i will work. You may have missed a step try to pause or go back hope it help you

make-sure the pin are correct or check the Bluetooth version of your obd 2 and your radio if they are compatible good luck
