Wow no Amber is so bold, also Kelly Goldsmith is a super interesting player I would love to see again. No Big tom is pretty bold as well, he always seems like such a good time
the producers definitely relied on a season's popularity more than an individual player when they originally casted All Stars proven obviously by high numbers from the first three seasons while the last four a season had no more than two. so I love the way that you set this up probably the most fair way I've seen so far of All Stars...
I honestly feel like the All Winners tribe will be interesting because Sandra and Brian would almost definitely go at it and the other four would have to pick sides (Vecepia and Tina most likely picking Sandra due to Brian in Thailand, the other two men could go either way)

I think about Brian playing modern survivor. May I ask: who thinks he'd play good, who thinks he'd play bad. I personally feel he'd be pretty bad for several reasons: his seasons rep, his edit, and his inability to make real bonds. I know it worked in Thailand, but in this case, his game is so well known that no one would buy it

Hell, even if he was in a Fans vs Favorites, Rookies vs Vets, Old School vs New School type of seasons, Brian would lose anyway, because of his Thailand game, no one would Align with him. His best chance is to play up being a Goat or be a challenge beast to not get voted out

Think it's hilarious that the Final Three of All-Stars were the three most questionable choices, especially in light of better character and players they overshadowed (Sean Rector, Collen Haskell, Elisabeth Hasselbeck). Like all three of them were even buddies with the person they were replacing so
Rob was questionable as a strategist, but it made sense to cast him as a character. Amber and Jenna Lewis did not make any sense.

Sean was not good television. John Carroll was better than him, Boston Rob was 10 times better than him and even Hunter Ellis was better.
Yes Jenna Lewis and Amber were questionable, but I think both proved to be perfect choices and definitely made a legacy for themselves.

Love your picks, I loved Heidi a lot and am sad she never played again. I fully agree with giving her a spot over Amber. I remember when I first started All-Stars I was so dumbfounded they had picked Amber of all people. She really wasn't that memorable on Australian Outback for me. In the end though she did really shine in All-Stars and am glad she made it in the end, but I do also love the idea of an alternate world where Heidi played again

In my simulation of this cast Colby, Ethan and Lex reach the final three in an alliance, Ethan wins the last Immunity Challenge and takes Lex to the final 2, and Lex won in a 5 - 2 vote, with T-Bird and Brian voting for Ethan; and Vecepia, Sue, Tina, Sandra and Colby voted for Lex, also the Winners dominated the pre-game, winning every immunity challenge in the original and absorbed tribes, it was until the tribe swap that some winners ended in different tribes and Rich was voted out first of the winners.
But in the original Allstars, Lex was on a tribe with Colby and Ethan and he cut both of them. Why would the new cast dynamics change that out of curiosity? Lex would want to cut Colby before the merge just like he did on original Allstars and he was too scared of Ethan beating him again. I just can't see any situation where Lex wouldn't cut them due to his entire mindset and the strategy he came into the game with. I'm just curious how your simulation accounts for things like this.

I'll do a 20 person cast, because there's enough iconic players/characters to make it work

Females: Tina, Sue, Jerri, Sandra, Vecepia, Shi-Ann, T-Bird, Kathy, Colleen, Jenna M.
Admittedly, this cast is lacking in diversity, but that's largely due to the limited choices available from those first 7 seasons. Back then Survivor usually only casted 2-3 minority players on a season, so there's just far less possible options. My cast seems to align with their usual standard at the time, as I have 3 minority players (Shii-Ann, Sandra, and Vecepia). While, I considered Gervase, Alicia, and Sean Rector I just couldn't put them over the other choices I had. I'd probably have Alicia and Sean Rector at the top of my alternates list though. Otherwise, I think the cast has a great collection of personalities and game play styles. All 6 winners are featured, which gives them more of a chance imo, and there's a lot more strategic threats than the original cast (adding Brian and Fairplay helps here), which makes guys like Rich and Rob C stand out a little less. It also works better in terms of balancing the amount of players from each season than the original all stars (my cast has 3 from Borneo, 3 from AO, 4 from Africa, 3 from Marquesas, 2 from Thailand, 2 from Amazon, 3 from PI)
From a tribe division standpoint, I'd make it look something like this:

I've actually been toying with the idea for years that maybe they could do Rivals vs. Duos season. One tribe made up of 5 pairs of classic rivals, and one tribe made up of 5 pairs of classic duos. And, yes, I know "but then it's not the same for everyone it's not fair" well first off.. since when is survivor fair? And second, there are pros and cons to both when you really think into it. I think it could be really cool and fun and *different* and I really think it could work.

Me too, but I recently read an interview and she said that she would never come back. She said she was young and brave when she went on Survivor in Australia and that that part of her life was definitely over. I was bummed to hear that. She does speak very fondly of the experience overall and she took a lot out of it.
I would Have put Brandon Quinton up for consideration, I know he wasn’t a huge character, but He was still one of my favorites

Even though I love your contest - "Shii Ann isn't that grat at strategy or reading people"... Correctly predicted Amber as a winner, calling out Penny as a snake in Thailand (the only person who flipped on a majority from Sook Jai), changed from the person who was a target on every single tribal council in Thailand o a one that was only voted for at her last trible council, trying to flip on her alliance in which she would have been 5th just to ensure she would make final 6 in Thailand I would also point as a good strategic view which, of course, due to a twist can be seem as a dumb move but I think it was a good one if you look up into the past seasons.
I think she was really bad social player because of which she had no chance to change her position at final 6 in All-Stars (especially since she wasn't that great in Thailand), but apart of that I think she had a lot of potential and she was really good, especially since she wasn't that good in challenges (thankfully she wasn't that bad). She definitely isn't the best player every but she was good in general and had a lot of good ideas so this comment in my opinion as a bit of too far in trying to downgrade her abilities to play the game.
I think Shii-Ann and most of the Thailand season are too often overlooked. I think the season was poorly edited because I think the cast was actually very likeable.

1) what would be your cast if you didn't include previous winners at all? (it could improve game dynamics when we now know how boring it was to see the decisions - "you're winner? Get out")
2) Could the show be better if the original cast was split differently into their tribes? (Boston Rob and Rob Cesternino in different tribes for example)
3) You wondered why Sean wasn't included when he was such a great character and you miss him as well - do you wonder now why that happened? :)

So I've been playing this on Bransteele and I needed to share the fact that on episode 7, there was a deadlock tie between Ethan and Boston Rob so they had to make a rock draw and out of all people (Ethan, Heidi, Rob and Vecepia, yeah Chapera got decimated) it was VECEPIA who got the purple rock draw
It's not much but it made me laugh a lot

I wish you did a video on the story of Kathy in Season 4. She was the first to go far into the game without a partner, and was a part of overthrowing the Rotu Four.
Kathy was a big part of Marquesas. The Patrons pick who I make story videos about and at 100 Patrons I am letting them pick any player from any season.

You should make your own cast for a Heroes vs Villains 2. You should probably only use players from seasons 21-40, but it’s your cast.

@@kellydaunis I would replace Candice as well. I hate Candice. I think Amanda is a better player than Candice is, but I'd be fine with Amanda getting replaced too. I'm sure there were some better candidates out there lol.
I really wish we could have seen Brian come back. If only he didn’t ask for extra money. Say what you want about him in real life, but we haven’t seen a player before or since Brian that is able to calculate human interactions in such a sociopathic, smooth way. He’s such a great villain and he is a force out there on the island. It’s a shame.
I still want christa to return, i think the argument of being from a trio with sandra and rupert would give her a good storyline and they seem to be going for nerdy girls more in recent seasons

Christy Smith wasn't the only deaf person in Survivor. There was Nina from Worlds Apart. Unless you were saying she was the only deaf castaway in the first 7 seasons.

The biggest mistake producers made for all stars was casting Jenna Lewis. Christy from Amazon, Darrah from Pearl Islands, Neleh from Marquesas, and Kelly from Africa all would’ve been better alternatives than Jenna Lewis. If she wasn’t on this season, it would’ve been better.
No Alex Bell or Dave Johnson from Amazon?!

This is a great cast, however there’s one big hole. Sandra didn’t know she won yet, at the time of filming
I would keep a lot of the same cast because i decided to eliminate unrealistic options. I kept Jenna L. because she was a prominent character on borneo and to have someone on Pagong represented. Alicia and Shii Ann were 2 people I kept because of diversity and for Shii Ann's case have someone on Thailand on the season since she's basically one of the only people on Thailand that were all-star worthy. I kicked out Amber and Boston Rob for more diversity were i replaced them with Sean and Deena. I think both seemed willing to want to play again at the time. Sean i don't think is a controversial pick. I included Deena because the amazon was a popular season at the time so i decided to add a 3rd player on that season since we didn't need 5 people from the outback.
IMO big tom, and Rudy should be on the cast (Big tom cuz he was in the top 4 in America's Tribal council, and Rudy because he was the fan favorite from Borneo, and could swap spots with Gervase)

For the women:
Colleen- she’s realistically probably going to decline though

Kim powers- even though she’s not on this list I would really love to see her play again I would add her to my personal list
Kelly goldsmith- I probably would ha e her as an alternate however will just say because Jenna morascas mother was dying she backed out
Shii-Ann- just to include somebody from all 7 seasons like they wanted to do
I don’t think Kelly wiglesworth would want to play again at least not then, I would probably consider amber as an alternate, I don’t want to see Elisabeth hasselback play again, with Kathy that’s a tough one I could see her maybe being an alternate or maybe cut at the last minute, I could see neleh & Heidi being considered as alternates too, I wouldn’t put vecepia only because she isint a very popular winner, probst & production didn’t find her that interesting, she kind of backed into her win & she was also pregnant at the time so she wouldn’t be able to do it anyway

If I had my choice, preferably a season of rivals. Put 5 pairs of rivals on each tribe, don't separate them.

For survivor allstars (I am doing this as if they filmed it after Jenna's moms death) I would have a giant cast of 24 people so that the façade of having a limited cast of 12 with only 2 tribes could play for a while.
Tribe 1- Richard, Tina, Vesepia, Sandra, Ethan, Brian
Tribe 2- Rob, Amber, Hidiek, Sean, Rupert Jenna
Tribe 3- Rob C, Fairplay, Lex, Kelly, Jerry, Shian
Tribe 4- Kathy, Big Tom, Sean R, Colleen, Burton Elisabeth
Tribes 1 and 2 compete for 6 rounds till merge
Tribes 3 and 4 compete for 6 rounds till merge
The merge tribe competes for 2 rounds until final 10 merge.

I’d replace Gervace with Sean & I think there’s a pretty good cast, I also think one of the other guys should be cut in favour of FairPlay, seems ridiculous that the shows biggest villain wasn’t on all stars

Someone posted a brantsteele which had Boston Rob, Sandra, and Rupert in the final 3 with Sandra beating Rob 6-1, I totally buy that as the result.
