The word for Marko's voice, considering his power, range, variety of styles, and genius for harmony, is "generational"
Though it is commonly associated with it, lust does not necessarily have to have a sexual connotation attached to it. You can very easily have a "lust" for power, or even for life itself.
A rare analysis of the lyrics, well done. Emppu is a (to some surprisingly) skillful guitarist, but his style is to be a guitarist of necessity, providing just what the song needs and ending his solos delightfully abruptly. Just the joy on the band's faces makes my day any day. The song is great and and the end crescendo is something to write home about.

It is helpful to realize something unusual about many, if not most, of Tuomas' lyrics during this period of Nightwish were actually his own heart speaking, but he wrote them for a female voice to sing his thoughts back to him. So, even though a woman (whether Floor or Tarja before her) are singing it, it is actually Tuomas' inner voice speaking through the female singer as an instrument. This realization (which doesn't come until after a long time of mapping lyrics upon real world current events happening to him at the time they were written) makes a lot of the lyrical conundrums easier to decipher. Great reaction again!

Floor is a beast in the best possible way. Of all the great Nightwish songs I keep coming back Ever Dream as my fav. Marko's bass lines and his vocals - WOW. If you want to see Marko at his vocal best check out the Nightwish tribute to Pink Floyd - HIGH HOPES. Usually only a fool decides it's a good idea to cover a Pink Floyd song, but then there's Nightwish. Marko is simply stunning -

Just want to give shout out to you, because you.come back to nightwish, so I had to subscribe also, but also that u stay with your own style, and do reactions to nightwish, how u feel comfortable. I was annoyed when I see "nightwish fans" giving u hard time for pausing so often, as u break down lyrics. Some other youtuber would had obey and to please some random loud fake nightwish fans wishes, do reactions like so many already do: act like it was life changing experience to see nightwish clip, but articulation and content of their words, kinda reveal their main motivation: try to summon the nw army, with hollow spirit, fake presence etc...(ok, i got carried little bit too far by mh own writing and thoughts. There are so many real deal reacting youtuber with that concept, maybe I myself have changed for to be more cynical towards them, because I've seen those fake ones so many also...)
Like some commentators said: because nightwish lyrics are so crucial and valuable part of their music of their own right, and ofc usually very creative and poetic, there are many fans, that appreciate lyrics and story behind nw songs to be as great as the music, for some even more important side of their art even(maybe poetry nerds etc😅...oh, and unstable persons like u ofc

I like these ones. I have heard this song so many times, that I don't need to hear it every time. I don't watch many new reactions anymore. People just listen and praise and don't analyze or know anything about music. Just try to make easy money.
There are not many who actually cares about lyrics or tries to analyze and understand those.
It is better if criticism is given if someone doesn't like something. Unfortunately fans go nuts and give so much hate if anything negative is said. It is simply impossible that even 10% of all people like Nightwish..or probably even 1%. The same goes for all music. It has nothing to do with the skill of musicians, but the music itself.
It is really painful to watch you struggling to understand some of Tuomas's most simple and straightforward lyrics or finding words to express any sort of comprehension.
