I am so happy to see the entire video (especially the couple) for being genuine with honest information. The struggle is so real (especially for London). I am not against migrating for better opportunities but London’s cost of living at this point (2023) is absolutely horrendous. Stating it from my own experience, It can make you vulnerable in ways that one would have never imagine.

"We appreciate your feedback, but we believe it's essential to share our genuine experiences. Living in London is fantastic, and we cherish the opportunities it offers. However, achieving financial independence, especially in central London, can be quite challenging. Our intention is not to portray negativity but to shed light on the realities of our financial goals while enjoying this incredible city."

      Hello boss !
First time I have encountered someone on this channel who have spoken their heart out generously pointing not only on the positives but also on the negatives too which really could make a lot of difference. Others on this channel , like for the sake am not blaming anyone to be very honest, but they were laying more and more emphasis on the positive aspects which I believe is not right because we do have to look on both sides of the coin , sometimes I felt like people were dragged to work as a nurse or even as a carer Jst for the sake of getting an PR . And one thing more , like the way u said ki you wouldn’t have even thought to coming to UK if u had a government job back in india, this statement in turn carries much value which the newly graduated nurses or someone who is working in central institutes should take care off and keep in mind .!
      Thank you so much

I'm truly sorry to hear that there was a misunderstanding, and your mother decided to cancel your plans. That was never our intention. Our aim was simply to discuss the challenges faced in certain areas while emphasizing safety and preparedness for those considering moving to London.
I understand how important your career plans are to you. It might be helpful to have an open and honest conversation with your mother, explaining that the discussions were about specific areas and not meant to discourage you from pursuing your dreams. Hopefully, with time and communication, you can work towards a solution that aligns with your goals and your family's concerns.
Remember, there are various options and ways to approach your career aspirations, and it's important to explore them together as a family. Wishing you the best in finding a resolution that suits your ambitions and addresses your family's concerns.

I came to London last year. Working here in IT. I can say whatever they have said here is absolutely true. I stay 40 miles away from London. And travel to work thrice a week. My office is in central London. Rents are crazy there. I was living in Harrow and the room was so small. I could hardly breathe. Now I came to outskirts. I have a bigger place, cheap rent. I am ok to travel 2 hours to work. But I am saving

I completely agree with you on the charm of London, but from my perspective, the cost of living in this city has become quite daunting. As someone who has experienced it firsthand, I've noticed that it's not just a bit more expensive than other UK cities; it's actually the most expensive city to live in across the entire country. Housing, transportation, and everyday expenses like groceries can take a substantial chunk out of your budget. While the city offers incredible opportunities and experiences, it's essential to plan your finances carefully when considering a move here.

As a person living in Belgium, I have travelled to London and other parts of UK multiple times. London is one of the most expensive cities, especially Real Estate or to rent a tiny house, it is horrondous! Asian eateries are ok price. But prices have shot up since Corona time, and adding to the misery , the Ukraine war plus the Brexit! Many have lost jobs because of Job cuts at many company's. Much of human work is being mechanised or automatic! For example: 10 years back there were much cashiers working at a supermarket. Now you see only 40 to 30 percent of cashiers...the rest is done by shoppers themselves by scanning and paying by card. You should be lucky enough to get a job in the UK, especially in 2023 where there are too many Non European applicants for job. Most of unskilled jobs are for English natives, as it is much more complicated or expensive to hire someone outside the UK.

"While we hold a profound affection for London and currently have no immediate plans to depart, we do harbor thoughts of exploring other locales where we can both save financially and savor a more relaxed pace of life. To those encouraging our return, we want to emphasize that our current life in London brings us genuine joy, and we strongly believe in the value of open expression.
We're not seeking to impose decisions on anyone, as we respect the wisdom of those watching. It's crucial to underscore our admiration for the positive aspects of London as well. Our words aren't fueled by frustration, depression, or regret; they're simply a candid reflection of our thoughts and experiences.

The best part of living in this country is quality education that too for free. Even if you have government job in india you move to this country for your kids to give them better mindset better education and in future career opportunities. Even mentally challenged people have job here. I would agree though that London is bit too expensive and cost of living comes half when you move to other cities like Coventry Birmingham Manchester Colchester etc. I live in Cambridgeshire though it’s expensive as well but better schools and universities.

Yes, it's a fact that London is generally the most expensive city in the United Kingdom. However, its ranking as the fourth most expensive city on Earth may vary depending on the specific cost-of-living index used and can change over time due to economic factors. London is known for its high living costs, particularly in terms of housing and transportation.

Hello everyone, sharing my experiences is essential because I believe that people who dream of coming to the UK should have a pleasant experience. It's vital to understand that my perspective is based on personal experiences from living in the heart of one of the most expensive cities on the planet "London" , specifically the 4th most expensive. My intention in sharing these experiences is not to force agreement, but to provide valuable insights.
I want to emphasize that I'm not discouraging anyone from pursuing their dreams, but rather, I aim to present a realistic view of what life in London can entail. Whether you agree or disagree with my viewpoint, it doesn't change the reality on the ground. Ultimately, my hope is that by sharing my experiences, individuals can make informed decisions and better prepare for the unique challenges and opportunities that London offers.

It's important to appreciate and respect the differences in how we perceive and engage with the world around us. People keep complaining but still stay there.. Keep saying everyone else don't come here it's shit but never leave. Its true london's life is fast and expensive but working in London also means your pay is higher than someone at same level in country side or any other city. Also, you have better opportunities and everything is readily available. You don't need to have a car in London, they're thinking to buy that means they have enough disposable income. They are able to save £1500 a month which I doubt they would've been able to save elsewhere. So, yes it's tough but it has its perks and if you stay here, you're choosing to!

London is one of the most expensive cities in Europe, no doubt! Buying a house in London city is like if one could win a huge amount in lotto...the Real Estate is awfully expensive! My Scottish friend living almost at the outskirts...who is a well paid Doctor...bought a tiny one bedroomed house for a horrendous price, which he will not be able to pay off even after retirement! London has wonderful opportunities...... but please remember, there are immigrants, from all over the world.... flowing into London...looking for opportunities. So, it is tough competition, especially with native English people, and the EU citizens ( it is easier and cheaper to hire these people than someone from Non EU.). Certain highly skilled category people may get a job without much fuss! Other unskilled professions...it is like winning a lottery! Best wishes

I wish if it was only about money! But it's more then that, it's about quality of life, family time, security and many more and this things only make sense when you actually come and live in centre of 4th most expensive city on the globe! 1500 quids looks huge when you convert it Rupees but reality to very different 😊

Just add study cost and 12 hours shift a day. Any time day and night shift. Imagine after 12 hour job you have no energy left to do anything. Travelling is excluded in 12 hours.

It felt like a rant against London. Liking a place is a subjective opinion, and one should advise others from not coming to a place as not everyone wants the same thing from life.

Its obvious from this video that wife, who came first to London, was not practical and future oriented. Rather husband is practical and future oriented. And thats the basic difference between thinking of female and male.

Certainly, here's a combined version of your statement:
"We absolutely love London and have no plans to leave anytime soon. However, we do envision a future where we might explore living in a place where we can save more and enjoy a slower pace of life. To those encouraging us to return, we want to emphasize that we are genuinely enjoying our life here, and we believe in expressing our thoughts openly. We're not forcing anyone to make decisions; everyone watching this is wise enough. It's important to note that we also appreciate the positive aspects of London. There's no frustration, depression, or regret here; it's simply two people sharing their hearts and experiences openly. Your understanding is greatly appreciated."

Hello, aysa nahi hain ki hum khush nahi hain, we are happy then ever but baat aysi hain uk jab aap atey ho tab ek thought leke atey ho ki settle ho, savings karo toh aysa hain ki London main woh cheez either bohot jyada time leti hain on the other hand people out of London can achieve goals in less time. But question is, are we happy here in London toh yes we are happy but do we want to have better life? Definitely yes. I hope this answers your question.
