But, but, but...with the jig hook won't it ride flash-back down? Doesn't matter if it still catches fish. Good to have you back. Missed your excellent tying videos.
Yes it will ride flash-back down, but in my experience trout will see it on the way down as it glistens as well as in fast current when flies tend to tumble/wiggle.
