This could be The Doors' "Now and Then." Use the same technology The Beatles did to isolate Jim's amazing, pained vocals. Robby and John go into the studio and record their parts; have Ray's brother play Ray's. Mix it with Jim's isolated vocals. Could be an absolute beauty, especially if they stick with this vintage Doors feel of the song. Let's make it happen!

This is in my Doors rotation. You can feel Jim’s deep soulful pain. It warrants a listen from time to time. It would be cool to hear a remastered version but this quality isn’t horrible. Thank you for posting it.

Affected, afflicted, an addict, an alcoholic, and still had a great voice. Oh well, the loss is our own.

He was an alcoholic not an addict

@@TheMurrblake I know. He did copious amounts of acid in the beginning, but then just turned into a booze hound. Great doc on utube called ‘The end of Jim Morrison’. Lots of cool interviews with people close to him. I meant ‘addict’ in a general way. I have a drinking problem. I’m 71 and have been like that since I was 18. I’m ‘addicted’ to the effects of alcohol, so to speak.

New Orlean was last but Jim was a mess and really didn’t perform. He destroyed the stage and passed out
