Being a musician I use to buy rock magazines all the time Larry,I was keeping up with all the new bands that were coming out at the time,I stopped buying them near the end of the seventies, that Beatles booklet though looked very cool, that's something I would like to go through. Bob.

I remember that my older brother subscribed to Melody Maker in the 70s. It looked like a newspaper in black and white (I think). 🤔 It wasn’t a fancy magazine, not like the ones you have.
It was interesting to hear what Ron had to say, (usually he isn’t so talkative). 😁And last but not least, Mollie has a very good taste. She always buy you nice shirts. 😊 Thanks for this video!

Beatles Monthly Book originally published between August 1963 No.1. until December 1969 No. 77. Revived in 1976 with the outer covers like your copy Larry until the 2000,s. now defunct.
They start from about £30 upwards on Ebay.
The Rolling Stones also had one from June 1964- until November 1966. These are probably more collectable than the Fab 4 ones due to there only being 30 editions.
The Monkees and Elvis also had monthly books.

So I am a massive sparks fan and it is the reason I subscribed to you larry in the first place. I don't like american bands in general, except for simon and garfunkel, Sparks and lots of songs randomly from some bands. The beatles will always be the best. Was just wondering if you were ever going to review all the sparks albums?

@@canadianstudmuffin Oh I just thought this was rankings but I suppose you do review them too. I got into sparks after hearing 'beat the clock' on top of the pops. Kimono my house followed love amateur hour. Really love 'hello young lovers' and 'lil beethoven' especially 'rythm thief' and 'waterproof'. Water proof possibly my favourite sparks songs.
