eh, I'm kinda disappointed the most in the arts this time around, especially for shanks. Luffy is fine, g5 is his peak form rn, looks cool I guess, but it looks like it could've also been a 6+ art... They could've done something different with him being in G5 but fine.. but this normal ass shanks pose is so overdone by now, it looks so vanilla and boring. I thought we are going to see some more exciting things for a shanks art. We already got much cooler Shanks arts, for example the Final blow Demon king Shanks with this glowing haki sword is so much cooler than this one.
Really cool characters for the 10th anniversary. The only thing i wish was different is that i would've made this 10th anniv Luffy's artwork being the one with the aviator glasses or the redeyed Luffy we got in the episode vs Lucci, i think it would've been a much better choice than this one. Hopefully the last time we see Wave KEKW
The point of Roger is that you can either use it as an all rounder farming captain or you can set it in a team with the other three units and use his special to start the setup. Then you use the others one by one and you get basically all the buffs at 6x, except one at 4.125x. And using his ex, you get the buffs for 4 turns and give all of them a super class to their second class
While the units are very strong they feel very formulaic. They are incredibly similar, in some parts like the effects of the Rush even identical. I'm disappointed they made these seemingly random chars with formulaic effects the 10th Anni
Exactly my thoughts. I'm excited about the changes they will bring to the meta, and that's about it. Having the same effects but basically just different classes to boost is just pretty lame. Ace is the most exciting imo because of that insane 50% special charge time reduction.

It’s been 10 years and Bandai still can’t give RED-haired Shanks a goddamn STR Legend. He doesn’t have a single STR unit. He has 5 PSY Legends (including dual/vs units) 2 INT legends, 1 QCK legend, and multiple rare recruits and F2P units in every colour EXCEPT STR! Like, WTF Bandai?!
Same old faces being rehashed over and over again as we had Gear 5 and we had Shanks legends just months ago. Not the best of anniversaries but certainly not the worst as well

I think they didnt give Luffy a conditional boost cause they want him to work with the Vegapunk batch making him cerebral and then stacking crazy high buffs, gonna be fun to see how that team ends up

Thats what im saying but with their types like luffy being int and shanks being psy and ace being dex and roger being dex those will be the primary teams theyll be on unless you put them on their type class teams if they fit or boost them

You need to do at least 30 Multis on part 2,3 or 4 to get any of the new units guaranteed.If you want to test your luck pull on part1. They will probably all be pullable there.or wait till you saved 500 gems more if you want to make sure to get that unit you want.
Nah. Turns of all specials are reduced before you even enter stage 1. Unless bandai prepared animation for specials being reduced like in case of wanda/carrot.
Damn, I left the game shortly after the first Roger released, I notice that powercreep has not been kind. Are there still fun gimmicks? Franky and V1 Katakuri where my favorite captains because of how fun they were.

We were JUST getting into an era where f2p units (like TM f2p) had captains whose boost effects were almost the same level of boost as a legend. I hate this powercreep.

Whichever legend you say is best, Bandai will design the banners accordingly because you have the most influence. Like if you say Shanks is best, I can guarantee he will have the worst banner.
He's the most popular OPTC RUclipsr, Japan included. If he tells people Shanks is the best legend, people will go for his banner, especially being F2P. Consequently, Bandai will make his banner bad to encourage people to pull on other banners too. They always do this.

Personally I think they should have made Roger a 2.5x boost for Berry and EXP

Toadskii is trying to figure out reduction of turns for specials when using ace. Just use 2 of them so the specials will be instantly charged to max 😂
That's not how it works, by using two of them the reduction will be 75%

Is there a ship that is worth the max special though? Seems kind of underwhelming for an anniversary unit to have as a captain effect imo.
