A lot of people have told us that 'Nadir' means Rare in Turkish. This is pretty cool, but it's not how we're using the word in this song. It also means the lowest possible point in a situation, so we've used it because this song is about the depths a relationship can go to. It's not always negative though, it's just about working hard at relationships and they don't always end painfully, they can be rebuilt and worked on. They can flourish at the other end too. Thanks for all of your contributions and maybe next time we'll write a song named after a Turkish word :) <3 TENDER

Nadir is one of my favorite words, meaning "the lowest point in a person's fortune" which is so fitting for this song

The melody sounds upbeat but has something so magical and bittersweet to it.
Nadir is also a medical term for: The lowest point. Either cell count after chemo or concentration of medication. lol thought is was random since I'm in Nursing school ❤
