Thank you for plainly explaining the pros and cons, this was a very useful video, im curious about your thoughts on their other product the wall hanging planter
I really appreciate your opinion , the price alone is something that would keep me far from them. There are so many other pots out there that are so much cheaper and then I have money left for more plants . If I was rich I would still not spend that much on a pot
Katie Williams I definitely agree with you!
I like that they are good for the environment but those pots are expensive. I will stick with my terra-cotta.
The Potted Couple them being good for the environment is the only thing that entices me to order again honestly
Plant My Happy Space yeah that’s how I feel
I invested in a good drill and now I make holes on cheap pots from ikea, thrift stores, Marshall’s and Michaels 😉
I have their regular wall planters and I don't use them as they advertise. You have to use A. LOT of soil and there is no drainage hole on the bottom. None of my vining plants thrived there when planted directly into wallygrow planter. So what I do is just use them as a cache pot.
I like them but tad too pricey and like my terracotta pots ... and now painting them how u showed me ♡
angie c-s I’m glad my painting video was helpful! 😊
Maybe will h time you’re gonna like them more. My plants love wallygrow so when the loop came out i already knew I would want one. There are definitely more pricey planters out there then this brand that aren’t made out of post consumer plastic. Also some of the cheep plastic pots are made with plastic that can deteriorate from time and watering including nursery pots that let out harmful toxins into the home.
Emily Toombs like I said in this video, I like the planters and I think they’re great for the environment. However the concept of putting a pot with drainage inside of another pot with no drainage isn’t a new concept. So I don’t think it’s worth the money when I can do the same thing with what I have at home.
Plant My Happy Space I don’t think they or anyone said they were a new idea but this is an expansion of their line and the original wallygrow is unique, plants do thrive in them and it does make it very easy to have a lush green wall. I think that’s why people really like the brand and not because of the loop planter. Also it’s made in the USA in Missouri or California (website doesn’t specify which) so it’s going to have a higher price point and a reason to feel better about spending a little extra on a product. Also I’m just trying to throw some positivity for the product into the comments ☺️
Thank you for the info. I have seen a lot of them featured & would probably use it like you had, not hung. Didnt know any more about them & definitely didnt know the cost. Yeah Ill probably stick to the cheaper way & not sure how I feel about there look.
Anna D I’m glad my video was helpful!
This is what I always thought too so have never purchased even though I have friends who are always pushing them!
I'd be curious if you would review the wallys. It is a bottom watering system but apparently they don't sit in water...not a pot in pot method.
I totally agree with you! I don't have one but I know I won't be spending my money on them.
I absolutely love Wally grow, I have them all over my house, and I tell everyone about them.
But why would I buy a small one for the same amount?
That's the only catch for me. Otherwise I do like the design
Kourtneys.Plant.Korner the originally design seems possibly worth it (even though I don’t have the original design) but the loop doesn’t in my opinion.
@@plantmyhappyspace3477 if you like to hang plants on your wall I highly recommend them.
Just make sure you fill it with soil high enough so the water can't poor over the top.
I think I have 10 of them in my house right now. I am debating if I should just make a living wall with them.
And you don't just have to plant hanging plants in them.
Calatheas, begonias , taller philos look great in them too
Kourtneys.Plant.Korner I’ll have to look for a good spot in my house and get a few!
I'm sorry but for me i think this was an unfair review because you didn't utilize the main feature by hanging it on the wall🤷♀️
FOR ME its nice cause It frees up floor and shelf space as well so even MORE room for plants. I'm creating a living plant wall.
If you were going to just sit it on a table or floor yeah might as well buy a regular pot. For me the selling point is how easy it comes on and off the wall for plant care.
I’d rather just use my regular terracotta pots and put that money towards more plants!!!
I have been wanting to ask you, did you sing the song in your video? 😄 sounds very much like your voice. And i would not pay that much for this pot.
Carrie L 😂🥰 haha no I didn’t. I got it off a royalty free website. I WISH I could sing that well!! So thanks for mistaking it for me lol. And typically I don’t pay this much for a pot either, but I’m here to give you guys the facts. So I spend my money so you guys don’t have to lol
Those pots are a little too hyped up for what they are. I'll stick with regular terracotta and thrift store shopping for pots, that's too spendy for me.
Ali K I agree they’re over hyped
