I’m so sorry, I thought he was a villain because he an acted like one. I finally got the chance to watch the movie so I wanted to apologize.

Well Death isn't a villain he was just trying to teach Puss about valuing life. Like have you ever wondered why did Death chase Puss in the first place, well the reason for this is because Puss is recklessly wasting his lives and in the final battle with him and Puss he noticed Puss learned to value life.

He wasn’t, he was trying to kill puss the whole time, that’s why when puss finally changed his ways in the last minute he gets mad and says “Why did I play with my food?!” in Spanish, he wasn’t going easy he was just enjoying his fear that he didn’t get time to kill him.

The thing is, I'm pretty sure death cannot be beat seeing as he is literally a force of nature. Nothing escapes death. All living things eventually succumb to it
I feel like despite being death, he can't just kill whoever he wants freely. But I remember I read from someone that puss disregarded his lives so much that it literally disgusted death. So death went "against code" and pursued puss until he learned to appreciate what he had. I feel like in this death could have easily continued the fight but when he saw that puss learned the value of life he relented because he can't actually kill puss before his pre destined time

Kai literally left the afterlife and was destroyed by an abundance of life energy essentially erasing him from existence. Po literally killed himself then defied Death and came back of his own free will from the afterlife.
I think people forget that Death in the movie isn't a villain more of a reminder that death comes for us all.

He is beaten by default in the kfp universe since he technically isn’t a thing there anyone, not everyone can exit the spirit realm they just need enough chi to do so meaning that it isn’t death it is merely an eternal resting stop where you can stay or leave as you please
@@jocelynuy2922death is the embodiment of death, you can’t *stab time,* it doesn’t work like that. He doesn’t need chi to have the ability to send anyone to the realm of the dead. Kai was sent there by po and his anger at po kinda says that he can’t go back so easily.
