Nicely done Pamo. My washer nozzles were clogged after 20+years (1998 328i convt), I found it fairly easy to disassemble the nozzles, clean out the parts and reassemble them. Been working perfectly ever since. I recommend it for anyone with an E36 with basic mechanical skills.
Wow, and I stupidly thought that they were just poorly designed. Your jets looked really powerful after cleaning. I've been struggling to find a good mid setting for my e36. If I adjust for city, the fluid barely reaches the wipers when on the highway, and if I adjust for highway, the fluid misses the entire windscreen and only cleans my roof in the city haha. I should've done this a long time ago, thanks!
I got bored of trying to clean out my old heated jets so ended up caving in and buying new ones. Something like £60 for two washer jets... Now you've mentioned taking them to bits I don't know why I bothered. Tried compressed air and even an ultrasonic bath but mine were blocked solid
@@ManSeeksCivic My favourite roads around there by the derwent resevoir and roads out on moors past Blanchland. I wasn't out in it today, but if your back down that way your more than welcome to give my evo a try, see how it compares to the 3.0
That's twice you've offered that sir, exceptionally kind of you. I am always out and around that area... I'll def get in touch and give it a spin. Thank you.
I have the heated jets I believe in my 328CI (because of the electrical connection like yours shown) Can you replace with the cheaper non-heated jet? I tried to unclog the left side of the drivers side jet, but no luck. (they have to holes per jet)The right side of the drivers side still works, but would be nice to have both working. Thanks!
I don't see why not, but I've not worked with an E46 jet (I assume this is a 46). I'd be very surprised if the mounting hole in the bonnet doesn't accept both options.
Thanks. e46 yes. I can't figure out how to get the harness disconnected from the bottom of the sprayer. The replacement heated one is $29 and the non-heated is $5 lol (probably aftermarket)
keep making videos, your channel has the best e36 content!
Thanks 🙂

Sometimes newer is better, although £60 isn't cheap. I'm a sucker for fixing stuff and enjoy the fiddly bits 👍
@@ManSeeksCivic if I'd have known you could take them to bits I definitely would've! Ah well. Know for the future now!
Think I spotted you on the a68 this afternoon in the m3? Googled the reg and came up with one of your vids? 😂
That was us, it's a small world mate. What car we're you in? I'm doing some work on the fto and was grabbing necessary forgotten bits!

@@ManSeeksCivic first time from me 🤔😂. Nearly back on road after underbody resto, I'll drop you a message when its done 👍
Fail, someone else then 😂. I'll look forward to it
Skipped the main part - how to unclog the washer jets!
Pop apart, use small wire to poke blockage out, pop back together. It's simple when you've got the assembly in your hands.
my fluid leaks into my hood
Dont cut all the important parts, omg thats
so annoying. Dislike
What did I miss that you need to know?
Very poor sound quality. Almost 90% unintelligible
